Hello to all our patreons, we thank you once again for joining us for another month on our journey. Next week we'll publish the official date, but we can advance that episode 9.3 will be released on May 20th. Besides that, we give you an overview of this month's approach.
- Writing
The translation of the episode is finished and will soon be in the editing/beta phase. Finally, it will be ready for programming next week, or at the latest the following week. We're working on the skeleton of the next episode, 9.3, which will be the prelude to 10.0. The 10.0 will be a single update common to all three routes and with which we'll close definitively the second story arc of CHR.
We're impatient and a bit nervous to see the final result, since it's a real logistical challenge for the CHR structure, as well as starting with the third and last arc of the game (episode 11-15). We hope you're as eager as we are to explore what this last stage of Jordan's adventures will be like.
- Art
Finished the backgrounds, two of the CGS, the new expressions are still pending, the sprite that would correspond to Amanita and the last cg that is already in the coloring phase.
This month we'll work on our third project and we'll experiment with animation, a theme we've always wanted to implement in our games.
- Programming
In the previous weeks we've made several implementations and corrections. We've added the language selection screen, corrected bugs in episode 9.1 and added some minor elements to the credits menu. As for episode 9.2, we can say that the general programming is around 60%, we still have to program the translated script and the final part of the episode.
- Other
We've started the process to publish the game on steam, it's far from being released on this platform, but we already have the developer account created and we've started to communicate with the suppliers. As soon as we have news, you will be the first to know.
On the other hand, we will dedicate some time of our production to continue experimenting with the demo of our third game that we want to present to the Euskal Encounter. This period of time will be less than in previous occasions and we'll invest it in the space between the publication of the new chapter (9.2) and the beginning of the next one (9.3). As usual, we'll share all the progress with you.
For those of you who are wondering about WT, it will be on hold until after July when we'll present the demo of the third project.
