Screening at Disney
🕑 Added 2023-10-16 21:48:56 +0000 UTCA little over two months ago we got to screen The Brave Locomotive at Walt Disney Animation Studios with composer Tom Hambleton.
What a privilege to present the film at the institution that inspired it, and on their 100th year. I couldn't have imagined a more fitting final chapter for the project when we began it years ago.
The first photo of Tom and me is in front of the projects I was fortunate to be involved with during my time as a Disney animator.
Thank you to everyone who came, to Ross Blocher for organizing, and to Disney for the inspiration!

That is the COOLEST THING EVER! I keep hoping (perhaps naively) that the new short they put out my peak people's interest in a 2d hand animated film again. Maybe '09 was too soon to hope for nostalgia, haha
