Episode 148 - The Starlight Barking Ep 1: Dalmatians Be Whooshing
🕑 Added 2023-07-27 17:48:43 +0000 UTCThe first full episode of The Starlight Barking goes in, shall we say, some unexpected directions. Lots more talk of pure bloodlines and hastily assembled coups than we expected in the sequel to 101 Dalmatians. Fortunately there's also a healthy amount of whooshing, humping, and implied scooting thrown in! And that's just by Conor during a surprisingly challenging Real or Fanfic segment!
Note: Mike's microphone encountered some issues that resulted in reduced audio quality on his end. The source has been found and it won't happen again. Feel free to roast him in the comments.
Assignment: Read thru Chapter 8

In the movie the two adult Dalmatians are Pongo and Perdita… but in this book it sounds like there are two pairs: Pongo and the “Missus” and Prince and Perdita, I think? How are they related?

I bought both this and the original book since I had only passing knowledge of the plot and thought it best to read the first to catch up on the details and lore. Just as well I did since many of the surprises for Mike and Conor, such as Cruella having a husband are present in the first book. By the way, Cruella was born with the surname 'de Vil' as her husband took her surname, not the other way around.

I have now finished the book. There are a lot more saluting dogs in the upcoming chapters. It's very suspiscious. o_O
