“The Crimson Wings” Status update
🕑 Added 2024-05-06 15:30:22 +0000 UTCAttention Commanders,
We want to keep you informed about the temporary pause of our “The Crimson Wings” Kickstarter campaign. This pause is due to the need to resolve some IP issues raised by a DMCA notice from Games Workshop, particularly concerning a few of our easy-to-build models, a couple of HQ units, and one vehicle. We are actively engaged in discussions to clarify these matters and ensure compliance with all IP regulations.
The concept of easy-to-build models is fundamental to our vision at “The Crimson Wings”. These models are designed to make it easier for everyone to enjoy our game, reducing the barrier to entry and allowing players to quickly engage in the action. We are committed to preserving these elements in our collection while respecting the creative rights of others.
As soon as we receive a detailed analysis of the complaint, we will address the specified concerns promptly. Our goal is to resume the campaign as quickly as possible once these issues are resolved.
In appreciation of your patience and support during this period, we are excited to announce that we will be creating an exclusive miniature for all backers once the campaign resumes. This model will be a testament to your dedication and passion not only for “The Crimson Wings”, but for all our projects.
Support us and let’s overcome these challenges together! We invite you to join our Discord community to get real-time updates and engage with fellow enthusiasts. Your support and feedback are invaluable to us during this time.
Thank you for your understanding and solidarity. Let's get through this together!

I'm a little bummed out I had to cancel my early bird all-in pledge. James Workshop's intervention messed with my finance allocation. I'll have to wait to late pledge. Oh well, go big corporations.

I don't know about you, but I used to be in breach of GW copyright, I've got two arms, two legs and a head, I'm sure they must have tried to copyright it at some point. Fortunately I was able to have a finger amputated and that made me just different enough to prevent a DMCA letter on my continued existence.
