🕑 Added 2022-02-10 13:42:37 +0000 UTCif you have keen eyes, you may notice that the model looks more detailed on the skin compared to the last upload, well in fact I got the texturing about as good as it got now.
unfortunately while doing so I figured out that the UV* I have made was really broken and I or something else have seriously fucked up while doing so and it caused a lot of frustration.
Like so much that I really wanted to close this patreon or pause next month's transactions or anything, it is again why I make so sure that everything is available whether you pay or not.
nerd talk from now on. if you are not interested about technicalities, it's okay to not read the rest.
*UV stands for when you have a 3d model and lay it flat so it's easier to texture and there is no overlapping meaning if you color let's say a leg and somehow it colors the face, and if you fix the face by coloring it back, the leg is gonna be undone and it's gonna be an infinite loop of back and forth until a proper UV has been made.
not only I made a normal map* for him, also a normal map mask, and texture mask , shiny mask and then figuring out that I have to do all that again should be pretty understandable that it frustrates about anybody
*and normal map is an image texture that is like a colored texture but it's purpose is to give out an illusion of detail of bumps and such without the detail being actually there, its saves a LOT of resources when you can have 2 identically looking models but other is low poly
