A Year Ago, Today
🕑 Added 2023-05-08 14:00:03 +0000 UTCA year ago, today (May 8th), I uploaded my first story to DeviantArt.
After who knows how many years of keeping my fantasies to myself, and for many of those years - not even knowing what a “giantess fetish” is.
It’s just who I am ever since I could remember myself, and actually most of my life I thought that I’m the only one, and I just lived with it as a fact - everyone enjoys normal stuff while I enjoy thinking of myself being shrunken and owned by the girls I loved, something I’ve never shared with anyone, including them. And they weren’t cruel - but in my mind… they had a different personality 😈
Only 8 years ago I bumped into a YouTube video made by TheWiking2000, I think many of you can understand the feeling of “wtf, I’m not the only one”.
It took my breath away, my life-long personal fantasy, rendered as a 3D video. I watched it perhaps 10 times in loops, suddenly learning that “giantess” is actually a thing with infinite different branches and themes, a whole new world opened up to me.
I was eagerly searching for more, bumping into those old Media Impact videos and later JasonNinja stuff. Looking back - idiotic stuff, but anything you’d show me back then with a beautiful girl depicted as a giantess would thrill me.
Over the years I’ve found and supported giantess-theme creators, like Mousticous, Guireyart, and more, enjoyed their work and wanted our community to create more stuff, as sadly, until the shrinking virus pandemic will finally start, can’t be achieved in reality, and manifesting our imagination somehow is the only way to experience it.
At some point I found giantess-theme literature and I realized I’m not only enjoying it more than watching videos or art - it keeps my imagination alive, and it was extremely important to me.
I didn’t want to rely on videos, I wanted to create and live scenes in my head.
So I’ve found myself eagerly waiting for Simsalabim45 stories, who at the time felt like the only person making giantess stories with a collage, until he retired and I had to look for others.
I couldn’t help but feel that most stories are too short and too unrealistic (like shrinking by magic, or in a high school science project). Also, most stories were too open ended for my taste. So after a long period of not finding a quality read, I’ve decided to write my own.
So it started with “Joining a Photoshoot”, continued with the 10 parts story “Helping a coworker” and then the 20 parts story “Friendzone to Slavezone”, all just pouring out fantasies I’ve been carrying with myself for years.
No collages or even photos, just texts.
It actually made me feel so good that I continued, and I wrote a lot, trying to manifest every fantasy I had.
By now I have no idea how many I wrote.
With a quick calculation, considering I consistently published at least one per day (so 365) and more than a month scheduled ahead, and all the days that had 2 stories, I’d say over 500 😳
And I’m not even counting around 50 stories that I ended up deciding not to publish for various reasons, for some it was because I felt like I can’t illustrate them properly, for others either thinking they aren’t good enough. Or - believe it or not - too cruel to even be published.
That’s the weird thing, I thought I’d dry out in a matter of weeks, but even now a year later I have an “ideas list” that recently passed the 400 lines, it keeps growing and I won’t get to everything for sure, but they keep coming so I keep writing them in one sentence just so I won’t forget.
At some point, thanks to CustomTiny13, I started making collages and although I’m far from being good at it - I really enjoy that as well.
Today, just a year later, I have over 3,000 watchers on DeviantArt and have almost 300 unique patrons (that come and go and that’s fine ❤️) so I know my work is appreciated by our little special community.
During this year I’ve used the support money to do more innovative and special giantess related projects like my interactive games that I’m super proud of, “Shrinking In The Mall” & “Shrunken at Home”, that get new players almost daily.
The website I’ve created to host these games, Giantess-Interactive, recently passed 600 signed up members.
All that without any kind of marketing or advertising, just by publishing stories. If a year ago you would tell me that this is where I’ll be today - I would’ve never believed you.
I’m really grateful to all of you, for reading my work and supporting what I do here, either financially or by sharing or complimenting stories you liked.
This is only the beginning! 🙏
