🕑 Added 2023-03-10 08:00:00 +0000 UTCAfter a few waves of the shrinking virus you got fired from your engineering position together with almost every male in the country. Your investments dropped to nearly nothing as the stock market broke in pieces.
More and more of your friends gave up on finding a job and became either “foot treaters” or “sweat rags”, it didn’t pay much but at least you had a roof over your head and “food” to eat.
You couldn’t stand it, so you’ve found a job that no girl would do - becoming a plumber.
It wasn’t easy making money and on most visits girls harassed and humiliated you, you tried to ignore it and just do your work, get paid and move on. You thought that if you save enough money you will be able to move to a country with a little more respect to males and shrunken people.
You got to another customer, a brat young girl opened the door, you sighed, another girl who was born after the first shrinking virus outbreak who probably thinks she is a goddess or something and doesn’t even see you as a human being, they were the worst, you actually thought about turning back and just leave.
“It’s my shower, it’s clogged”, she said with a smile and opened the door wider, you nodded and walked in, she walked after you.
“How much will it cost me?” She asked.
“I don’t know yet, I need to see the problem”, you replied, organizing your stuff in front of the shower.
“Get to work then”, she said and giggled.
You sighed and started checking what’s the problem, the pipes were filled with moisturized tissues, a ridiculous amount, like it was done on purpose.
It was hot inside the apartment, the brat was half naked but to you it was a bit much, you sweat a lot and became thirsty as hell.
You sighed and turned to talk to her, but you saw her making poses to the mirror and taking selfies with you in the background. You just grunted and shook your head, these teenagers have no respect… but you were used to the humiliation, that’s the world now and you have to accept it.
“Ok I’m done”, you announced, removing the gloves and standing up.
“Oh how inconsiderate of me, I haven’t offered you anything to drink”, she giggled.
You made a suspicious look, “not thirsty”, you impolitely replied, “the bill”, you said, taking a note out of your bag, “it’s 80$”
“Oh wow”, she raised her eyebrows, “that’s a bit expensive”, she giggled.
You sighed, “I’m sorry, that’s a regular price for fixing a clogged shower”.
“Ok but I don’t have enough cash here, I’ll text my boyfriend to come with the money”, she started tapping her phone.
“How long is it going to take? Can’t you make a transfer?” You waved with your phone.
“Nope, come, wait with me in the kitchen”, she started walking, you followed with a grumpy face, she filled two glasses with water and you both sat around the table, she placed one glass in front of you, your mouth was dry and you really wanted a sip, but you preferred not to.
“He will be here soon, sorry for that”, she said.
“Hmph”, you replied, waiting idly, you didn’t have a fancy phone like her.
“So… umm.. wanna talk about something? I’m Pepper by the way”
“Like what?”
“I don’t know, you’ve always been a plumber? Isn’t it a nasty job?” She giggled, playing with her hair.
“It's honest work, it pays the bills”, you shrugged.
“Really? Aren’t you homeless or something?” She asked with a smile.
“What? No, of course not” you shook your head, surprised by the question, it’s the first time you are having an actual conversation with someone of this generation.
“Do you have any dreams, ambitions?” She asked, leaning forward and looked at you with a smile.
“Heh..” you thought she was mocking you but it looked like a sincere question, “well.. honestly?.. I wish the world would be back to normal”
“Normal?” She asked with a confused face.
“Before that virus thing.. I miss being an engineer, making an impact, all that”, you shrugged again.
“Ah, wow, that’s cute”
“Cute”, you repeated after her grumpily, shaking your head and sighing, “when will your boyfriend arrive? I should be going”
She checked her phone, “probably soon, who knows maybe he shrunk on his way here”, she giggled.
“You know it’s not funny right? The fact that the vaccines aren’t as effective as they used to be, he might’ve actually shrunk”
She started laughing, “it would be so funny, I imagine him running in the streets and getting squashed by some random girl”.
You started coughing, “Ah god… what the hell is wrong with you”, you instinctively held the glass and started drinking, she looked at you and bit her lower lip, it was weird.
“What? He’s just a male”, she said casually.
“Jesus…” you mumbled and checked your watch, “listen, I’m just leaving you my bank account details, when your boyfriend gets here ask him to make a transfer, I have no time for this”, you took a pen out and started writing on the note, then something weird happened, your fingers started tickling, then went numb, the pen started rolling on the table and fell down on the floor.
“What the fuck” you mumbled, you tried to reach it but it was like half of your body is going numb, you fell down on the floor.
“Hey, are you ok mister plumber?” She got up her chair and walked towards you.
Your mind was racing, the numb feeling got more and more intense, it’s got to be the shrinking virus, fuck, this is the worst time to get infected, “h-hey, there is a syringe in my bag, give it to me, fast”, you always kept a cure with you in case you caught the virus but you didn't expect it to happen.
“Hmm, this one?” She pulled it out.
“Y-Yes, quick, stick it in my thigh”, you begged in panic.
She giggled and pressed the syringe in front of you, making the cure flow out into the air and on the floor.
“N-No! What are you doing!” You shouted but then your mouth went numb as well.
She started laughing, then placed her foot on your cheek, pushing your face to the floor.
“Oops, I’m so clumsy, I must have dropped some shrinking virus inside the water earlier too”, she said while laughing, then pressed your face a bit harder.
You were shocked, your body started shaking involuntarily, then you slowly got dragged on the floor, shrinking down and feeling your clothes being pulled away from you, her laughter booming from above, getting louder and more terrifying every passing second. After years of avoiding this damn virus - you finally got infected, by the hands of a damn brat…
You ended up bug size inside your now huge shirt, it was kicked away by the brat’s foot, you fell on the floor and she looked at you from all the way up, smiling viciously.
“So, about the payment”, she started talking in complete pleasure, pouring herself some wine, “I’ll pay with foot sweat, is that ok?” She giggled.
You were still dizzy and confused, caressing your head and looking around, it was surreal, being so small made you feel so pathetic and vulnerable. Pepper looked like some ancient goddess, bigger than you could even comprehend.
“I’ll take that as a yes”, she sat down and propped her feet in front of you, “go ahead, get your tongue out, you earned it”, she giggled and sipped from her wine.
The air was thick and humid, you watched her sole, it was covered in filthy sweat, you couldn’t believe this is how you’ll end up… you won’t do it… you can’t give her the satisfaction…
“I’m waiting”, she said and took another sip, “hmm, or maybe you just prefer to get squished? Like we talked about my IMAGINARY boyfriend”, she started laughing.
You looked at her with a confused face.
“Gosh you are so naive, no one was coming, the only payment that was waiting for you was my foot sweat silly”, she played with the glass and sipped again, then shoved her foot in your face, smearing foot sweat all over you, “so start licking, make sure you swallow every drop, poor thing”, she said playfully, then tapped your head with her big toe a few times.
You gulped some sweat that got in your mouth and started coughing. You looked at her and she was just taking another sip from her wine, she looked so smug and satisfied, you hated it, but if you wanted a chance to survive you have to do what she says.
You got to your knees and started licking her sole willingly.
“Mmmm…” she moaned with closed eyes, swallowing her wine, “it’s the best moment”, she sighed, “the moment you realize you have to obey me…” she giggled childishly.
It pissed you off, but you kept licking, stuck your tongue into more and more of her crevices, swallowing nasty horrible sweat while she drank her wine joyfully, twisting the glass with her hand and examining it.
“How’s the taste? I bet it’s horrible, I haven’t showered yesterday, you know - clogged shower haha”, she started giggling drunkenly, “thanks though, I hope my payment is to your satisfaction”.
You stopped licking for a moment, you wanted to scream at her, curse her, hit her, but just by looking at her you realized how pathetic it will be, you are simply nothing compared to her, so you shoved your face back to her sole and kept licking like a miserable hopeless bug.
“Ah…” she just sipped the last of her wine, “anyway, thanks for that, it was fun knowing you, it’s always hilarious to hear you guys have dreams”, she bent forward and grabbed you, then started walking to her room, you squirmed and tried to release yourself as you couldn’t breath inside her hand.
Suddenly she opened it and you started free falling downward, you screamed and *THUD*, hit a soft carpet’s fabric, it was still painful as hell, you started crawling and then shadow started forming around you.
“You did such a good job, so I’ve decided to give you a bonus, tiny bug”, she giggled, “getting squished by a goddess”
You kept crawling, desperately trying to get away from her foot but it gently landed on top of you.
“Gosh I can actually feel you tremble”, she moaned and pressed a bit harder, you couldn’t move any more, even the soft carpet started getting stiff as she pressed harder, you let out a breath and *CRACK*, you stood no chance, she laughed as she raised her foot from behind her, exposing your crushed body to the mirror and took a photo with her phone.
