You were living with your son in a duplex during the midst of the pandemic, sharing the house with a young woman, you’ve rented her the lower floor and that was your only way to make money in these dark times.
You were in some kind of a lockdown while she kept going outside every day.
The only times you could see some sun was when you worked in the garden, taking weeds out and raking leaves.
It also bothered you that Mikaela was smoking in the garden and you could always find used filters on the ground, you had to pick them up with your hands and throw them to the garbage.
Lately Mikaela had a cold and also stayed home while you and Timmy took care of the garden.
“Dad I found another filter”, Timmy handed it over to you, then pinched his nose.
You sighed in frustration, took it from his hands and went to throw it, you yawned and covered your mouth with your hands.
You continued cleaning the yard for a while, then you started having a weird feeling, your fingers and toes started itching and going numb.
“Dad… I don’t feel so good”, you looked at Timmy who was perhaps 2 meters away, then he started to shrink.
“Oh no, Timmy don’t move”, you took one step towards him and fell down as your legs went numb as well, then you quickly started shrinking as well.
You were the size of a bug, wandering on the ground, getting out of your now huge clothes.
“T-Timmy!! Timmy, where are you!!” You walked next to different weeds, searching for him, then the house’s glass door started opening, Mikaela took a step out, then yawned loudly and stretched.
“Fuck… fuck fuck fuck”, you mumbled, trying to pick up the pace and look for him.
Mikaela released a long sigh, then opened a cigarette box, she started walking in your direction, with every step the ground shakes and crack sounds as she crushes everything on her path.
“Timmy please!” You shouted, her leg just crossed above you, you shivered in fear and she continued walking to sit on a rock, she was barefoot, such a dirty person.
She sat down and raised her feet on a rock, sighing in satisfaction and taking a smoke from her cigarette, you looked at her from afar, she didn’t even notice your dropped clothes on the ground.
She is the most sociopath person you ever knew but you really need her help right now, Timmy was nowhere to be found.
As she took another smoke, she placed one of her feet on the ground, that’s your chance to get her attention, you ran towards it, as you got there you started rubbing her foot from the side.
She used her foot to push you away, not even looking at you, probably thinking it’s a bug, you got up and rubbed it again, more forcefully this time.
“Hmm?” She finally looked down holding the cigarette with 2 fingers beside her.
“Mikaela!!! I need your help please!!” You screamed.
“Huh? Mr.Williams?” She asked nonchalantly, taking another smoke.
“Yes!! Please! Timmy is out there! Help me find him!”
“Oh, little Timmy also caught the virus? Wow”, she paused, taking another smoke, “yeah I forgot to tell you my cold was actually the shrinking virus, I think you got infected, sorry”
“You think?!” You snapped, furious as hell.
“Had no idea it’s THAT infectious, yeah, heh, bad luck”, she calmly took another smoke and sighed.
“Ok, can you please stop smoking and help me?! Please help me find him!”
“Sorry I never stop in the middle of a cigarette”, she replied, scratching her foot next to you.
“Are you kidding me?! This is an emergency!!!” You screamed, how can she be so damn selfish, it’s her fault you are in that situation, it drove you insane.
She bent over and picked you up, placing you on the rock next to her foot, “Mr.Williams can you lower your voice? I just woke up, let me finish my cigarette and we will look for Timmy”.
“B-But something might happen to him, please, I really need your help”, you tried to calm yourself down and beg her, your voice started to break.
“I said I will, meanwhile if you can use your little tongue to clean this foot I’ll really appreciate it”, she propped her sole in your face, it was filthy.
“You can’t be serious, this is insane, why?!” Tears started filling your eyes.
She took another deep smoke, then slowly released it from her lungs out, “listen, I start to lose my patience here, if you don’t start licking I’ll just get inside the house and continue my day like nothing happened”.
“B-But Mikae-“
“Don’t you care about Timmy?”
You stopped talking and gulped.
“So start licking”, she said with a smile, taking another smoke.
You blushed in anger, fucking ungrateful bitch, she knows exactly that you have no choice but to obey, you reluctantly bent over her sole and started licking off the dirt.
Mikaela sighed with a smile and bent backwards, taking another smoke, “good job, put some muscles into it”, she said and giggled, then stopped to smoke again.
You’ve never been so humiliated, but you continued licking, pushing your tongue and hands against the filthy surface, doing whatever you can to make her help your son.
Mikaela threw the filter of the finished cigarette over the ground, then stretched slowly and yawned.
She bent over her other foot and examined it.
“Oh”, she said, ”fuck me”.
You quickly walked aside her foot, “w-what? What is it?” You were nervous as hell, you prayed it’s not what you think it is.
“Wow, sorry, but I think I’ve found Timmy”, she showed you her sole and pointed at the ball of her foot, as you saw it, you fell to your knees in tears.
“Probably as I walked to sit here or something”, she explained, “yeah I thought I heard a different kind of crack, ew, he splattered like some grape…” she paused for a second, examined his crushed body, then started giggling, you couldn’t believe your ears, she gestured with her hand forward, “sorry, wow, I’m so sorry, it’s just funny you know, thinking he ended up like that, oh god”, her giggles turned to loud laughter.
You looked at her with death in your eyes, you stood up shakily, so furious you could kill her right now.
“Like… POP.. dying like that beneath a huge foot, I didn’t even notice, poor thing”, she pulled her feet to the ground and stood up, *CRACK* sound could be heard from the foot where Timmy was.
“You fucking BITCH!” You pointed at her, “y-you will fucking pay for this!”
She facepalmed herself and continued laughing, “I thought about extorting your saving accounts and everything before squashing you to death but now you’ll never play along, hahaha… shit happens I guess”
You started shivering and took a few steps back, so she never intended to help either of you anyway.
“Thought to keep Timmy as a foot slave, what a waste, I’ll just take over the rest of the house, that’s cool too”, she raised her right foot up.
You embraced yourself as her foot slowly descended towards you, screaming in terror.
*CRACK*
You were crushed over the rock, she twisted her foot like taking out a cigarette, squishing you to a pulp.
She sighed and laughed to herself, “best morning ever”, she walked back inside the house to take a shower and spread her stuff to the rest of the house, she practically just won the lottery.
