Interactive Story - Progress & Updates
🕑 Added 2022-12-02 00:22:55 +0000 UTCMade a lot of progress in the last days:
New Features:
1) Every user will now have his own "endings counter", which is saved and consistent for the logged in user, no matter on what device you log in from.
It was very important for me to develop it before the release because I think currently the interactive story is just huge and I believe that a way to track your progress is important.
Also, because some options have random results and secret endings, I think this feature will ensure that you won't abandon the game before seeing everything just because you believe you chose all the options.
2) Conditional Options - to make the story more interesting, there are several options that you will have to do / not do something specific throughout the story for them to be enabled when you reach a certain step. So for example if you chose to be disobedient at some point, you might disable a future option. On the other hand, if you went to a specific place at some point, you might have enabled an option elsewhere, you will have to explore and try stuff until you figure out a way to enable options for secret endings.
Progress:
I'm almost done with the longest branch, I have some endings to finish writing (some have the length of a proper short story), that's the yellow nodes you see in the diagram.
Overall I have 15 more steps to implement and write down, which is cool considering I wrote 71 so far.
Then I plan to go over all the texts, make sure there are no typos, mistakes, bugs, etc.
I believe we are talking about 1-2 weeks of work before it's ready for alpha stage release.
Collages:
Currently, out of 71 written steps, 60 have a collage / photo attached.
I believe that upon release almost every step will have a respective photo.
How to make sure you will be able to play upon release:
1) As I said before, you need to sign up here:
https://gbt3101.wixsite.com/giantess-interactive/shrinking-in-the-mall
Use the same email you use here on Patreon.
2) You need to have a pledge history of 10$, even if you are not an active Patron, unlike the content here - the interactive story will stay open to you forever once you get the pass.
3) Later this month, once I finally release the game, I will manually go over everyone who signed up and give permissions to eligible members.
Afterwards, you will get a personal email inviting you to start playing.
Haven't found a reliable automatic way to do that at the moment, I hope to develop something more efficient in the future.

That's all for now, and hopefully the last update before release! thank you all for the amazing support and the patience with this release!
Hope you are as excited about this as I am :)
