Once a year had passed, he was presumed dead and you all lost hope.
Then suddenly one day, you bumped on Facebook into a story of a woman who used to be in the same class at high school with your brother.
“Chilling”, she wrote, you noticed a tiny man on his knees bowing down his head towards her toes, you zoomed in, then you gulped and gasped, it was your brother, you were sure of it.
You ran and called your parents to come see this, but when they arrived the story had already disappeared, she probably removed it when she noticed he was mistakenly caught on camera, your parents just looked at you with sad faces.
“You have to believe me, he was shrunk, next to her feet, she has him!” you pointed at the screen on her profile image, you tried to convince them but they just silently went out of the room, sad that you couldn’t move on and kept looking for him all this time, they both gave up long ago.
You didn’t know what to do, you entered her gallery and started browsing through images, trying to find him somewhere but he was nowhere to be found, you’ve decided to send her a message:
“Ruby, I know you have my brother, I saw the story, release him or I’ll tell the authorities”, you anxiously sent the message and waited, you started sweating cold sweat, you blushed and kept watching the screen.
Then you saw her typing, you got tensed, your senses heightened.
“😛🖕🏻”
And she blocked you.
It drove you insane, you immediately grabbed your phone and called the authorities, they told you to submit a complaint in a police station, so you went there, waited in line for 5 hours and then filed the complaint, wrote the whole story and everything that has happened.
You gave it to an officer, she went over it with tired eyes, “yeah, not sure even if I should open a case, it will get immediately closed due to lack of public interest”, she said while chewing a gum.
“What? That’s my brother, she enslaves him for perhaps 5 years now”
“I know how to read”, she stated irritatingly, “even if you are right and telling the truth about seeing him, 5 years are a very long time, by law he’s considered her property now”, she blew a balloon with the gum, it exploded and she kept chewing it.
You were shocked, “how can it be? It doesn’t make any sense, my brother is a citizen, a human being!”
“Well, you have a problem with that, you should go to congress and ask them to change the law, I suggest that you forget all about it and move on”, she sighed and placed the pages you handed her down.
“How can you say that, how can I forget about the fact that my brother is there with her, licking her feet and who knows what’s more”, you said in a sore voice, tears started choking you and your voice broke.
“I’m not saying it’s not sad, ok? But there’s nothing you can do, and that’s considering you are not wrong and the tiny in that story was really your brother”
“It was him, I’m sure of it”, you stated and she shrugged, blowing another gummy balloon, you went out and she shoved your complaint into the shredder.

You sat on your bed and cried, thinking what you could do, you kept thinking about what the officer told you.
So your brother is her property now? Property can be stolen, this is what you should do, you’ll break into her home and free him, there’s no other choice.
You went to her neighborhood, you watched her home from outside, it was dark and quiet, you slowly sneaked in her lawn, crawling over the grass, you peeked through a window but you couldn’t see anything, then you went to the door, you touched the handle and tried to open it.
The door opened, it wasn’t even locked. You felt lucky, you slowly opened the door, looking inside, it was dark, you stepped inside and started sneaking, checking the salon, the kitchen, the guest room, there was nothing there, you slowly used the stairs to go to the second floor.
You walked into the first room on the left, you used your phone’s screen to light the way, then you noticed a cage on the desk, you quickly went near it, looking inside.
“Steve? Steve, is that you?” You whispered.
The shrunken man slowly rubbed his eyes, “what… how can this be..” he gasped, then sobbed, “Tom? How did you get here?”.
“It doesn’t matter, I’m saving you”, you reached your hand to the cage’s door and then a needle stuck in your finger, it was hidden behind the handle, a bit of blood dripped out.
“Oh no”, Steve shouted, “YOU HAVE TO RUN! Get out of here! It’s a trap!” He screamed and waved, you licked your finger, then you turned around.
“Ugh, pathetic”, it was Ruby, wearing a revealing thin pajamas and underwear, you tried to push her but you were too dizzy and weak, she easily used her leg to push you backwards, you fell on your back, “I’ve never seen anyone more obvious and predictable than you”, she said in a bored tone, then placed her foot over your face, preventing you from getting up.
She yawned, “well, at least now I have you both, and you will be able to be together, isn’t it great?” She pressed harder with her foot, twisting it forcefully, smearing her foot sweat over your face, you tried to respond but you couldn’t.
“Oh take a good sniff of that foot, you are going to spend the rest of your life serving it, just like your pathetic brother”
“No! Please leave him out of this!” You heard your brother screaming from his cage, banging the bars, “Goddess I beg you! I’ll do anything! Let him go!”
She raised her gaze to his cage, “how dare you talk to me? Did you forget you are not allowed to speak? Get on your knees and bow your head down this instant”, she paused for a moment, “good slave, now stay like that, not a word”, you were terrified from how she dominated him like he was nothing.
The shrinking virus started kicking in, you felt her foot bigger and heavier over your face, you started squirming and trying to be released from her grip but it just tightened harder, you were shrinking beneath her and you panicked as you thought her foot would crush your head eventually.
When the shrinking process ended, you couldn’t see anything, her foot rested on top of you, it was painful and humiliating. You squirmed and tried to push it with all of your power, but you were nothing, a bug trying to move a human.
“Now I need you to understand something”, her voice boomed from above, “I can add just a little bit of pressure and you will crush beneath me in less than a second, all that will remain is a bloody pulp, and I hate bloody pulps, it’s messy and hard to clean”.
You froze as you heard it, shaking beneath her, you stopped squirming.
“But I can also lift it and let you live, if you prefer that, give my sole a kiss, and make sure I feel it”
You shoved your face into her sole, pressing it as hard as you could, then started kissing it with your tongue like you’ve never kissed before, you kissed like your life depends on it, and they did.
She giggled quietly and finally her foot lifted up, you saw her blurry silhouette towering above you, the room was enormous, only now you realize how small you actually are, you turned to a sitting position and started coughing, you rubbed your eyes and slowly started seeing straight, her feet were in front of you, they were colossal, you slowly looked up until you met her gaze, she looked at you with an indifferent face.
“On your knees, start kissing my toes” she ordered, you hesitated for a moment but then threw yourself at her toes and started kissing, you didn’t want to die, especially not like a bug crushed by a huge foot.
“Good”, she said, she sounded satisfied, “another obedient slave, it’s probably in your blood”, she giggled and bent down, picked you up with her fingers, she placed you on the desk in front of your brother’s cage, he was still bowing down, shaking, you felt so bad for him.
She easily removed the tiny syringe that was hidden behind the cage handle, then opened it up.
“Since I’m a kind goddess, I’ll let you be together”, she said and pointed inside the cage, gesturing you to walk inside, “but if you’ll ever disobey me, even a little, you’ll never see each other again”, she threatened, you trembled and gulped in fear, then started walking inside the cage, the moment you stepped in she closed it behind you, then she sighed with a smile, “welcome to your new life, you’ll find out it’s not as bad as you think, I’m a good owner, you can ask your brother, as long as you’re obedient your life will be… bearable, and you better show me gratitude, if you take me for granted your life will get worse”, she explained, you nodded, looking at her with tears, she turned, chuckled quietly and went out of the room.
You ran and hugged your brother.
“Why did you come here, you should have let me rot here…” he cried.
You wanted to say something but the tears choked you, you knew that if you say one word you’ll burst into a cry and it won’t stop.
“Now you are in this hell like me, she’s cruel, she doesn’t feed me with anything except her foot sweat and dead skin, no matter how much I beg her”, he sighed, “never mind, I shouldn’t tell you this, I don’t want to scare you”, he said and continued crying.
You realized you stepped into hell, and there was nothing to do about it, your new life as Ruby’s pathetic foot slave has began.
