New Job - Part 1
🕑 Added 2022-09-14 20:32:55 +0000 UTCIt was in the early days of the pandemic, you caught the shrinking virus at home, one of your kids found you and while crying he handed you over to your wife, who gasped in sadness as well, as she placed you on the bedroom stand, consulting you on what you should do now.
You had 3 kids, a mortgage, you both worked very hard just to pay your debts, during a short conversation she just started crying desperately.
“Noa, I’m sure they will find a cure soon, this weird disease has been here for a few months now”, you tried to calm her down.
“It might take years, our family will live in the streets until then”, she replied while crying.
You paused, thinking, “there must be something I can do, some way I can still earn money”.
“Look at you! You are as small as a cockroach, what can you possibly do??? You are pathetic now!”, she shouted, angry and frustrated.
It was mean, but you knew she talks like that just because she’s in a desperate situation, “calm down, try to search online, I’m sure there are shrunken men out there who already figured out how to earn money”.
She wiped her tears, tapping on her phone, she finally stopped crying, after a short silence she said “I think you are right, there are some shrinky services being offered”, she went to lay on the bed and continued her research, after a while she even started giggling from time to time, you wondered what she’s reading. After several more minutes you’ve decided to just sleep here on the stand, you were exhausted, the shrinking process took a lot of energy from you and the terrifying moments until being found by your son also had taken their toll.
You fell asleep almost as immediately as you laid your head down.

“Hey, wake up”, Noa woke you up, she was smiling calmly, “I’ve found you a new job, we will be ok”.
You stretched and yawned, “oh that’s great, what’s the job?” You asked while stretching.
“Ok so hear me out”, she said and blushed a little, “it’s some kind of a.. pedicurist job”, it was clear that she is embarrassed and struggles to talk, you didn’t understand why.
You started laughing, “pedicurist? What do I know about that? It’s so far from my expertise”
“Heh.. yeah so it’s actually a thing now… shrunken men taking care of women's feet..”
“Feet? Noa I don’t understand”, you were confused.
“Well so among shrunken people jobs this is by far the most worthwhile, if you will be good at it you can actually earn more than you earned so far in normal size”
“But what am I to do? I don’t understand, painting nails? It sounds weird”, you tried to pull more details.
Noa blushed even more, “ehh.. listen.. you will just help some women you know.. maybe lick some feet.. and-“
“Lick feet??? What the fuck??”
“I’m sure it’s not that terrible”, she said and chuckled nervously, probably trying to calm you down, “it’s a foot treatment, think of it like you are a massager or something”.
“I.. I don’t think I can do that, it sounds sick”.
“You did massage my feet many times when you were normal size, and you were good at it, so why not”
“But I didn’t lick them, why would anyone want that and even pay for that? this is crazy”
“It’s not only licking, some women want their dead skin removed from the sole you know, and they say shrunken teeth are excellent for it”
You were horrified, it sounds like a terrible, degrading and humiliating thing to do, “ok listen I need to think about it”, you said with your hands up, trying to calm yourself.
Noa checked the time on her iPhone, “well you don’t have much time, your first customer is in 40 minutes”
“What?! How??” you were shocked.
“After reading about it I posted on Facebook, I even created a page for you”, she showed you her phone’s screen, there was a page named “Tiny Jim” with your profile picture.
“But who signed up so quickly?” you asked.
“It’s a mother from Rey’s class, Maya or something, she lives not far from here”.
You gulped, if it’s who you think she is, she is kinda hot, if you remember correctly you saw her a few times in parents gatherings at school, you thought she even gave you some looks, maybe checked you out or something, you were flattered.
“Ok I guess I’ll give it a try, but please look for other options, I’m not sure it’s what I want to do until there’s a cure”
“She is paying 80$ for one hour, I’ll never find anything as profitable”
“Wow, why would anyone pay that much for such a thing, Jesus”
Noa laughed, “I don’t know but as long as they pay, who are we to judge them.
Ok get ready we are leaving soon”, she said and went to organize herself for a drive, you just waited on the desk, not sure how you can prepare for it.

You drove together to her place, Noa took you out, holding you in her hand, “I’ll wait in the car”, she said and knocked on the door.
Maya opened it, she stood with hand up holding the door, wearing some casual white dress, barefoot, holding some alcoholic drink. She looked at you and smiled mischievously, “oh hi Noa”, she said, raising her gaze to look at her.
“Hi, so here he is”, she handed you over, Maya excitedly held you, you felt so uncomfortable with this situation, but at least she was hot as hell, you were worried you might get a boner in her hand.
“Cool, here is the payment by the way”, she gave Noa 80$, “see you in an hour”, she said with a smile and closed the door, she quickly went with you to her room, “please don’t disturb me for the next hour”, she said loudly, maybe to her husband or one of the kids you couldn’t tell, then she closed the door behind her.
“It’s actually you, the cute dad from my daughter’s class”.
“Heh, thanks”, you said embarrassed, scratching your head, it felt so weird being in someone’s hand like that.
She bit her lower lip, you saw lust in her eyes, it got you a little scared… if you were in normal size you would have been thrilled now, but being this small and handheld, that felt like something else entirely, something bad.
