Thanks to the LGBTQIA+ community, I was able to get to know and recognize myself in the spectrum of demisexuality and panromanticism.
Luckily, I have never suffered strong discrimination due to my sexual and romantic orientation, but the mere fact of finally being able to clarify my many perplexities, confused feelings, and perceptions that I thought were distorted gave me an incredible serenity. โจ
Some people don't need to recognize themselves in those labels, and I'm sincerely happy for them because they probably live and have lived a more peaceful life, but I am grateful to have understood something more about myself and that above all it's recognized. ๐
So never stop talking about it, because so many of us need to know that we are not alone. ๐
