Still More S.P.A.Z. Character Designs
🕑 Added 2021-11-02 15:00:06 +0000 UTCI had Theo, the competent agent and main character from S.P.A.Z.: Special Protection Agent Z pretty much dialed-in, design-wise, at this point, but I still had to work out Becca, his assistant. All I knew was that I wanted her to be cute but kind of nerdy (my personal favorite). I had tried a number of other designs, which I'll share another time, but here I tried starting with a facial shape I already knew I liked, from another nerdy character I'm quite fond of: Aiko, from Teddies with 'Tudes. I roughed out a modified version of Aiko, followed by a humanized version of her. Then I hit on a haircut I liked, and tried it out in a color sketch complete with details to complete the alien motif. After all that, I don't like it. I actually like one of the previous versions more. But as I said, I'll post that later. (You'll see, it's much cuter. I'll have to find another project for that one.)
On the October sketches: I need to get mailers and stiffener and pack the individual sketches; then hopefully I can get to the Post Office later this week. I'll let the recipients know the shipping cost then. But they'll be on their way soon!
