When I created my acc I used this tutorial here - https://www.infinityfolder.com/how-to-create-a-baidu-account-from-outside-china/ - BUT I couldn't use a European number, so I had to contact my family and use Brazilian number. I don't think EU is allowed to create Baidu acc yet. :(
