As time passed, Gwenpool grew increasingly fatigued, and drowsiness set in. The tightness of the ropes pressed against her body painfully, and the most intimidating factor was Black Cat, standing there coldly observing her.
Black Cat finally spoke in a cold, challenging tone:
> “Do you really think talking so much will help? You don’t understand that this isn’t your playground…”
Every word and movement from Black Cat was designed to create psychological pressure. Gwenpool tried to shift her body to find a safer position or loosen the ropes, but every motion was closely monitored. She felt as if every tug and pull on the ropes was being scrutinized.
Black Cat circled the room, controlling Gwenpool’s perspective to make her feel there was no hiding spot. Each time Gwenpool tried to adjust a rope or wiggle free, she heard Black Cat teasing:
> “Trying to undo the ropes, huh? Go ahead… I want to see how clever you really are.”
These words heightened Gwenpool’s sense of pressure and tension. She had to concentrate fully to assess the situation. Even though she was tired and drowsy, she continued to think carefully.
Black Cat moved closer, then farther, rotating around the room as if orchestrating the pace of Gwenpool’s every attempt, ensuring she couldn’t easily free herself. The observation created a rising sense of insecurity and despair.
Gwenpool gradually realized that she wasn’t only fighting against the tight ropes — she was battling the spirit of her captor. Every word and action from Black Cat tested her patience and her ingenuity.
Despite the discomfort and pain, Gwenpool refused to give up. She continued devising clever ways to find an escape from this storage room, knowing that Black Cat’s games were only beginning.
