Teamcraft 8.0
🕑 Added 2021-01-09 18:56:24 +0000 UTCYou might be thinking "we didn't have any new features or bug fixes this week, is Miu on holidays?", well, I'm not on holidays (yet), at least not regarding Teamcraft.
I have been thinking about if this should be 7.7 or 8.0, and after all the changes i've made, this has to be 8.0, because some of them are breaking changes (meaning that you can't go back to previous versions, not that you'll lose data :) ).
But what's inside of it?
When I started working on 8.0, my first goal was to empty all the pins in the #ux and #feature-resuests channels, and this means that every feature that has been suggested and pinned as accepted will be in 8.0.
The features
I will only list the "big" features, because else this post will just be impossible to read :
- You can now add alarms to multiple folders at once
- Inventory tracking now supports multiple characters
- New dropdown to select the language used for searching in search page
- New categories in sidebar to better organize things
- You can now mark features as favorites to create your own favorites category in the sidebar
- New leveling equipment feature to easily find equipment to level up your character
The update also contains complete rewrite of alarms system (your alarms will be regenerated as soon as you update, and they are now way more consistent), rewrite of the inventory tracking system to store it as a file and support multiple characters.
And of course, a lot of bug fixes too :D
The list isn't exhaustive, I'm trying to add more thigns but can't guarantee it'll work as wanted so I didn't list them here but you'll love them if they end up working as I want.
We want a release date !
I don't want to put pressure on anything or anyone (especially me) for this update so there's no release date, I'm aiming for mid february, could be before, could be after, I don't know.
I might roll a beta update before this so the bugs I didn't see can be caught in order to avoid the frustrating first hours where everyone spams the same bug I never encountered or didn't test properly.
Path of Exile
What, path of exile????
Next week, the new expansion and league for Path of Exile, a game I'm really enjoying these days, will be released, this means that I'll be slower on developement and it's one of the reasons why I don't want to put a release date on all this. Everything works fine as of 7.6.22, and this means that once the update gets released, I'll be able to enjoy it without worrying about big bugs in production that are affecting you.

Wow, this is great! I'm sure everyone understands that you want time for the new expansion and therefore develop a little "slower", very sympathic and put a smile on my face - I am always amazed at how fast it is going;) Enjoy the game, I'm looking forward to the update! PS: Since the last update in terms of packet capture, inventory tracking runs finally stable at me * yay *
