Next chapter, the battle begins in earnest. (Assuming, of course, that Mel hasn't accounted for how Vivi will react to heading home.) OH! As I wrote that, it hit me: the next part is making Vivienne realize that she actually wants this, making her an active participant in both her downfall and her future happiness.
