How much should they know?

It got me wondering, what do YOU all prefer?

I'm half they're aware and embracing it, cause that means happy ending and half unaware but audience is explicitly told so it's fun that person still thinks everything is normal.

I like the variety. I kinda like the stories where the guy transforming is unaware, but his friend/bystander/relative IS aware of the change
