Putting Right What Went Wrong
🕑 Added 2022-10-12 19:49:46 +0000 UTC[shrinking, muscle growth]
Cedric sipped his green tea and scanned the empty parking lot for his target. He tapped his fingers on the steering wheel impatiently as he waited. All of this–the tedium of waiting, having to blend with normal mortals by piloting one of these crude automotive constructs as opposed to simply materializing where he wanted to go–made his skin crawl. This was, however, the job: to right aberrations in the fabric of reality, stitching up the little tears of things that went awry decades ago. Were he to appear in his original form–that of a pillar of blue light surrounding a glittery catseye–while magicking from place to place, he would disrupt far more than he was preparing.
That’s the thing with these mortal planes: everything was so damned fragile. That did grant him some job security, though. And the emotional boost from the green tea was pleasant, plus every so often a mortal would be shaped in just the most satisfying configuration…
He snapped out of his daze as he sensed the aura of his target about two hundred feet away. An average-sized man wearing a polo-shirt and khaki pants was walking out of a pharmacy–where they dispense medications, Cedric had learned in the centuries he spent outside this linear timestream studying this particular age–carrying a plastic-wrapped sandwich under his arm.
Adam was his name. He would be 40 years old soon, making a menial living as an engineer. He lived alone, had sparse sexual encounters and interacted with others very rarely. Work is too important, he could hear Adam repeating as others tried to save him from his–as he called it–”ironclad work ethic” without success.
Cedric sighed as he saw the mark approaching. He still remembered the image of him as he was supposed to be: large, imposing, beautiful, taking whatever he wanted from the world. The only thing he was meant to give back was pleasure, and only to those lucky enough to end up in his bed.
That was the place the universe had intended for Adam. This wasn’t about Cedric judging Adam’s life, or benevolently blessing him with something better. For things to be “right” in this existence, Adam needed to be changed. Cedric cracked his knuckles as he leaned against his car, waiting for Adam to approach.
“Is that your lunch, Adam?” Cedric asked in a coquettish voice. Adam froze in his tracks, looking around (apparently expecting there to be some other “Adam” to whom Cedric was referring), then considered his sandwich as he shrugged meekly.
“Uh… yes?” he said. So unsure himself–so unlike the gladiator of a man Adam was supposed to be! Cedric clucked his tongue. “Do I know you?” Adam asked, blushing.
Cedric knew very well how pleasing Adam found his form. He was six feet tall, dark-haired with a smoldering gaze and tight, well-formed muscles all over his body. He bulged in all the right places: largely in his chest and buttocks, with a nice protruding basket in the front of his dress slacks. Human beings loved this look, especially Adam. Cedric had seen the images Adam stared at while pleasing himself every night.
“Not at all,” Cedric said, waving his hand. “But I know you well. Time to put things right.” A quick glance around showed no bystanders; this would be easy, and Cedric didn’t have to make it quick.
Adam suddenly gasped and dropped what he was carrying as the first wave hit him. Cedric’s magic washed over Adam like a warm hug. A moment later, his body compressed, and he found himself a whole foot shorter.
“Down you go! Very nice. Are you happy that I shrank your clothes with you? I thought it might be impolite to leave you nude in your current state.”
Adam was shocked–one moment tall enough to look me in the eye, the next suddenly staring at the center of my torso. The poor lad looked around, terrified. Clearly, nothing in his humdrum life of work, sleep, and watching TV had prepared him for arcane magic that would shrink down his stature! The panic on his face, the shock of realizing that his car, the nearby streetlamp, even the garbage strewn around the parking lot had all grown bigger (in relation to him) was exactly why I decided to reduce him in stages. What a treat this part was!
He took a step back in shock, but continued to stare in fear. “No fight OR flight?” I said, clucking my tongue. “My good man, your destiny was to stomp around the world in only a jockstrap, taking whatever you wanted and caring about nothing except for your throbbing dick. This… VERSION of you… would be revolting to your true self.”
Another wave of magic and Adam shrunk down again, this time to only two feet tall. His sandwich and bag had shrunk with him, now so small the sound they made as they struck the pavement was nearly inaudible. Now he tried to run, but made a wrong turn and headed straight into the tire of his car–which was taller than he was. He bounced off the rubber and hit the ground hard.
“How are you doing down there, birthday boy?” I said, shaking my head as he struggled to stand. “Nope, I think it’s better that you stay down, little one.” With a gentle tap of my shoe, I nudged him flat on his back. “THERE we go. Just stay still. I promise you’ll certainly enjoy this when it’s all said and done–as much as I’m enjoying what’s happening to you now!”
The form I’d chosen–that of a rippling, lean, beautiful man with shaggy dark hair and a pleasingly angular face–was intimidating enough to the schlub when he was the same height as me. Now, as I towered over him, I must have seemed like some sort of supreme being. It was about to get worse for the poor reduced lad–as I had one more stage of size-reduction in store for him.
“THERE we go! Shrunk down nice and manageable,” I said as he popped down to an absolutely miniscule 5 inches tall. His car was impossibly massive to him now, and my shoes–shaking the earth every time I moved–must have seemed too huge to fathom. “All that panic is fun, but I DO have a job to do.” I snatched him up quickly. “THERE we go. What a cute little man you are, despite your pasty skin and undeveloped frame. Now let’s get you out of here and on to your new life.”
I drove to the new destination with him sitting on my lap. Around a few turns he would lose his balance and topple over, but a flex of my thigh got him back up on his feet. I played with tapping the gas to have him fall back against my bulging crotch (which was twice the size of him). I could tell by his blushing face that he was, on some level, enjoying what was happening, despite the circumstances.
“Little one, don’t be confused by how you feel,” I said, gently caressing his head with my pinky finger like he was a baby mouse. He seemed soothed by the action. “If you’re curious, we’re driving to your new home. It’s on the beach!”
I pulled up to the address, parking next to the For Sale sign. With a snap of my finger, the sign uprooted and evaporated. That one little spell took quite a lot out of me, as changes rippled across this reality. Inside the house, furniture was suddenly appearing and arranging itself. The neighbors were suddenly gaining memories of the man who had lived in this house for the past year–the man that Adam would be soon.
“All right, tiny man, we are here.” I stepped out of the car and dropped him on the stone walkway leading to his front door. He shivered, too small to make out the beautiful multimillion-dollar home I’d chosen for him. “Oh, calm down,” I teased.
“First, let’s tap into your genetic potential,” I said as I used my magics to stand him up straight and splay his arms and legs wide. “You were young. You were supposed to start wrestling at age 10 at a community center. You would have loved it, and it would have lead to a long, successful career, but either your mother lost the information sheet and you got a library card instead.” Adam’s tiny body suddenly leaned out all over. The soft layer of flab over his frame suddenly tightened, his skin shrink-wrapping his body. He went from the body of a man who sits all day and snacks on donuts his fellow engineers offered to a man who did tough mudders for fun and ate mostly beef jerky and rice.
“There you go. Enjoy it. Take a look, little guy.” He stumbled around, put off by the changes (and the bizarre turn of his day!) but eventually his curious hands slid under his shirt and felt his hard abs, the sinews where he’d had soft flesh for his entire life. His pants started sliding down, no longer held up by a flabby butt. He touched his own buttocks and gasped as he felt warm steel.
“Now… after wrestling, you would have joined the football team,” I said as I engaged my magics again. “But you would have hated all that ‘team sports mentality’--all those neanderthals dragging you down when all you wanted to do was to achieve on your own merits. After high school you ditched organized sports entirely. You preferred to spend your free time in the weight room, pushing your body to its limits…”
Before I’d finished speaking, the 5-inch tall man’s body had already begun to inflate. His lats blew up first, pressing his arms out from his sides. His shirt (baggy over his lean frame) was suddenly stretched to its limit as his pecs inflated like balloons. He grabbed at them as if he could restrain their growth, but they kept swelling until the shirt had burst.
His legs followed, swelling with thickness, pushing his feet apart. He wobbled unsteadily as his widening shoulders, narrowing waist and unwieldy stance threw his center of balance off. “Then, as you explored the limits of building size, you got into growth hormones… steroids… extreme mass-building techniques…”
The little guy blew up like a balloon, blimping out on all sides like a little muscle-tick. Every part of his body looked like it was about to pop. “...until you discovered and refined your pursuit of the perfect aesthetic form…” His skin seemed to shrink-wrap his muscles as all of the extra “fluff” evaporated. Deep cuts appeared on every hyper-developed muscle-group. Somehow, despite shedding the unnecessary watery mass, he looked even bigger.
“Of course, a man of your obvious gifts would become so enamored in his physical appearance that his face and hair would get just as much care as the rest of him…” His hair bloomed, falling down his bulky shoulders like the cover model of a romance model. His cheekbones popped, his cheeks sucked in, and his lips plumped. He batted doe eyes, fluttering his lashes.
“Perfect. Now let’s return you to your normal size…” The tiny man’s body shot up rapidly. He looked so bewildered by the changes that, as he went from toy-sized to towering over me, he barely reacted. As I released my powers on him, he put his fists on his hips and bounced his pecs, smiling at the sensation. I could see his brain rewiring, accepting his current reality as the truth from now on.
He looked ridiculous in his shredded clothes, so I simply rearranged them. The torn fabrics moved like warm wax, sliding around his body until they pooled around his groin, reforming into a bright red jock strap that hugged his massive physique tightly. “Two last changes,” I said, wiggling my fingers, and his skin faded to a deep mahogany as the bulge in his jock swelled to triple its size. He bounced his hips, watching the significant weight’s satisfying bounce with hungry eyes. I could tell he was eager to put his body to work.
“What are you staring at me for?” I asked. “Go embrace your new life!” Two hunky surfers were walking off the beach. They paused as they noticed the smoldering hunk. Adam needed only to flex a bicep (the size of one of the surfer’s legs!) and the two men were following him like drones. I smiled as they retired to his house.
My work was done–and what a tremendous job! I would most certainly receive massive accolades. Adam was free to embrace the life he was meant to lead, while the streams of time washed over the remnants of his old life until it was forgotten entirely.
Before I left, I paused to listen to the sounds of the ribaldry going on in Adam’s new house. I was surprised the surfers’ shrieks were so high-pitched! They had seemed so masculine and cocksure before Adam started dominating them. I imagined one of them licking his muscles while he plugged the other with his massive (thanks to me) cock, until they decided to swap roles. Maybe someday, between jobs, I’d stop back to visit Adam to take my beautiful creation for a test-drive. I would greatly like to taste those muscles myself!
