LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, LET’S HAVE A WARM WELCOME FOR THE MAN WHO MADE MASSIVE MUSCLES MAINSTREAM, AND MADE THEM LOOK PRETTY… BODYBUILDING’S HARDEST WORKING AMBASSADOR… THE MAN WHOSE GARGANTUAN BODY WAS ALMOST ALWAYS MATCHED BY THE BIG MOUND OF MUSCLE IN HIS TRUNKS… FOUR-TIME MR. OLYMPIA AND MOST ENORMOUS BLONDE FUCKBOY IN AMERICA… JAY CUTLER!
Jay’s big shoulders sagged as the announcement from the tinny speakers echoed around the massive warehouse. Several dozen well-dressed partygoers milled around the spacious floor with a few servers casually passing plates. A few of them lightly clapped but the rest seemed to be oblivious to the large man in a sweatsuit lumbering in with a duffel bag in his hand. The usually mild-mannered bodybuilder started to blush as the inappropriately phrased introduction sounded off. Slinging his bag over his shoulder, he turned toward the door, digging his phone out of his pocket.
“Yeah, Avery, it’s Jay,” he said as he reached the heavy double doors leading to the parking lot. “Listen, that gig you sent me to turned out to be really sketchy. I’m THIS close to firing you as my manager–”
A balding man with a long, curly moustache slid between Jay and the door.
“MR. Cutler!” he said, staring up at the muscular athlete, offering a thin, limp-wristed hand for a shake that Jay did not oblige. “My name is Devin Scarlotto and I’m not only in charge of this event… I’ll be the one immortalizing you in my book!” His voice was identical to the one on the speaker: shrill and melodramatic.
Jay eyed up the man, focusing on his ill-fitting tuxedo, and let out a deep sigh. “Look, man, this wasn’t really what I signed up for–”
“You signed up for a photo shoot!” Devin said, producing Jay’s contract and unrolling it for emphasis. “For my new book capturing the greatest physiques of our age!”
Jay turned around and gestured at the crowd. “Why’s there this… party thing going on?”
Devin clapped his hands together. “Well, you see… it’s also the RELEASE party for the book!”
Jay raised an eyebrow. “A release party… for a book you haven’t made yet…”
Devin nodded emphatically.
“Well, y’know, that whole introduction was way out of line, man. That right there should make the contract null and void. What kind of a crowd is this!”
Devin bowed at the waist. “My apologies, Mr. Cutler… I was trying a bit TOO hard to be titillating here. You have to understand, I’m the artist, the event coordinator, the promoter, and now your hype man. Look at these guests! They’re completely unimpressed with what’s going on. I’m about to lose them!”
Jay glanced back at the guests. They were well-dressed WASP-y folks in their mid-40s. No one was smiling. Several made faces like they’d smelled something unpleasant. The hors-d’oeuvres weren’t helping.
“If we start the photo shoot now,” Devin insisted, gently removing Jay’s hand from the door handle, “we can reignite their interest with some of that classic posing of yours. C’mon, Jay, the quad stomp? They’ll go nuts!”
Jay sighed. Devin’s failing event wasn’t his problem. He started to wonder how much it would cost him to break the contract.
“I’ll give you thirty minutes,” Jay said. “You get the pics you want and then I’m out of here.”
“Oh, we’ll get exactly what I need, I’m sure of it,” Devin said. He tried to lead Jay by the sleeve back into the warehouse but the big man didn’t budge.
“Really? I’ll be posing in FRONT of them?” Jay said, rolling his eyes. “Fine. 30 minutes, agreed?”
Devin nodded emphatically. “Come with me! I’ll show you where you can change.”
In the dimly lit “changing quarters” Jay ran into another muscular man who was oiling up his physique. He was nowhere near as well-developed as Jay, but he was several inches taller. As Jay stripped down and adjusted his posing trunks, he couldn’t help but notice this tattooed guy was wearing only a bow-tie and a jockstrap.
“Oh, damn, you’re Jay Cutler!” he said, lighting up at the sight of the Olympian. “Wow, man, I can’t believe it’s really you! Honor, truly.”
Jay flashed a polite smile and regarded the man’s large muscles. “You’re pretty big. You compete?”
He shrugged and smiled, flashing deep dimples. “Oh, a couple of times, but I’m mostly just a performer now.”
“Actor?” Jay asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Oh yes, adult films,” he said. “I’m Zeb Atlas.”
Jay audibly sighed. Was it too late to get the hell out of there?
“You’re gonna be in Devin’s book too?”
Zeb raised an eyebrow. “I don’t think so. I was hired to hype up the crowd.” He flexed his biceps with a long tongue extended, flashing a dopey smile. “Perfect! Anyway, see you out there?”
Jay picked up his phone, ready to call his manager again, but he got no signal. “Damn. Something in the warehouse must be blocking cell phones.”
Outside the changing area, Jay ambled past the uninterested event guests. No one even batted an eye that a large, powerfully built bodybuilder was shuffling past wearing about a handkerchief’s worth of material. He hit a few poses, got some yawns and some eye-rolls, and moved on.
Tough crowd, he said, looking around for a clock. He wanted to make sure he wasn’t there for a minute longer than he had to.
A stage had been set up with several large metallic constructs that looked like rejected industrial art projects. Devin had his photography equipment set up there, so Jay joined him.
“You’ll be standing over here, big guy!” Devin said, gesturing toward two solid metallic rectangles on what looked like hydraulic pistons. Each was about seven feet high and four feet wide, with ten feet of space between them, in the middle of which was a bright green X.
“LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOU’VE NEVER SEEN A PHYSIQUE OF THIS CALIBER IN YOUR LIVES!” Devin spoke into his microphone.
About thirty feet away, Zeb, gyrating his muscles on a table for a few portly gentleman, shot a look at them. “Hey, what the hell!” he said, making his pecs bounce furiously. A moment later he paused to reconsider, then hand-waved the mood shift. “No, nevermind. He’s right. Jay’s a legend!”
Jay shook his head, wondering how he’d got himself in the same room as adult film gogo muscle guys, but hopped onto the X anyway. He hit a wide lat spread, his thick back muscles swelling up like wings beneath his arms, then flexed his biceps, revealing the pure mass of his rippling arms. A casual golf-clap came up from the crowd.
“Are you photographing any of this?” Jay said as he hit his third pose, planting his fist on his hip and raising the other hand up into a beefy arm flex.
“I’m waiting for the right moment…” Devin said, adjusting some knobs on a large control panel next to the camera. “Just keep going!”
Jay stomped his foot down for his famous “quad stomp” pose, sneering proudly out at the crowd. At that moment, Devin slapped on a large green button. There was a blinding flash, but before Jay could react, the two rectangles slammed together with a resounding CLONG that some people could feel in their teeth.
Devin rubbed his hands together as the hydraulics let out a few puffs of air as the disengaged, slowly pulling apart. Where Jay stood was now a 5’9” tall perfectly flat cut-out of the man. It wobbled a bit, losing its cohesion, sagging like warm rubber down to the ground.
Finally the guests erupted in applause, only now seeming to enjoy themselves. Some men whistled loudly with their pinkies in the corner of their mouths. A woman near the dais where Jay was smashed flat licked her lips and rubbed her knees together.
Devin stood over the two-dimensional bodybuilder, saving every perfectly preserved detail. “Oh, wow,’ he said, reaching out and gently rubbing Jay’s meaty pec, his thumb lingering on the nipple. The flattened man still gave off warmth, but the flesh had toughened when it compressed, feeling more like leather now.
“Look how perfect he looks!” Devin said, holding up his newest acquisition. “Look at the determination on his face, frozen that way for all time!” Devin carried Jay’s poster-like body toward a large cube behind the hydraulic press. He flipped a few hatches and the cube split open, revealing its hollow insides. “But not as perfect as he will be!” he said, gently laying Jay within the cube, trying as best as he could to avoid wrinkling the now motionless Olympian.
When the cube sealed again, Devin hit a few switches and it let loose a blast of hot steam, rocking back and forth like a washing machine before shutting off again. When Devin opened it again, he removed a now eight-inch tall version of the squashed bodybuilder he’d placed inside. “And now, the final touch!”
At the very edge of the stage was a small card table covered in black silk. On it was a pair of rollers with a crank next to a book. Devin rolled the miniaturized Jay through the rollers, licking his lips as he came out the other side perfectly laminated. He opened the book and flipped a few pages in. “We’ll make you page 4, Mr. Cutler–in honor of your four Olympia wins!”
Devin placed Jay carefully in the book, then clapped his hands together as he closed it. He savored the sight of tiny quad-stomping Jay as the surrounding pages closed in on him and plunged him into darkness.
Suddenly a thought occurred to Devin. He spun around, looking for his hired dancer. “Did Zeb see what happened? He didn’t see that, right?” he said. The guests were back to looking bored now that the little blonde bodybuilder was sealed away.
Suddenly the door to the changing room burst open and Zeb stumbled out, rearranging his jockstrap around his deflating erection as one the portly elderly men stumbled out after him, walking like he’d ridden a horse for seven days. Zeb tucked a wad of cash into the jockstrap and winked at his satisfied customer. “What happened? What did I miss?” he said with a lazy-lidded smile. “Where’s Jay?”
“Jay is… let’s just say… ‘lost in a good book’ if you will!” Devin said with a cackling laugh. He looked around, expecting someone else to join in with him. “Really? Nobody? You impossible fools.”
Zeb shrugged. “Whatever. Where’s the next guy? You said that big Russian dude, right?” he said as he hopped up on another round table, unleashing his big cock and swinging it from side to side for a very interested man who shoved his wife out of the way to get closer.
At that moment Devin noticed a huge mound of human waddling into the warehouse. He clapped his hands together with delight at the arrival of his next guest: Alexey Lesukov.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, FEAST YOUR EYES ON THE SOVIET SUPERSTAR, THE BABY-FACED BEHEMOTH, THE WALKING PHOTOSHOP… NO, THAT’S NOT A SUPER-SIZED 20-YEAR OLD! THIS FULLY-GROWN–AND MIGHT I ADD SUBSTANTIALLY OVERGROWN–BEAUTY BRINGS BRIGHT EYES AND DIMPLES TO OTHERWISE FREAKISH MUSCULATURE! HE MAY LOOK LIKE A PHYSIQUE MODEL WHO ATE AN ENTIRE MEN’S GYMNASTICS TEAM AND WASHED IT ALL DOWN WITH GROWTH HORMONES AND TRENBOLONE, BUT IN REALITY HE IS THE ONE, THE ONLY… ALEXEY LESUKOV!
A gentle applause tittered around the warehouse. Alexey, delighted at the introduction, threw up his big arms into a sizable double-biceps pose and smiled. He walked right at the stage. “I pose now?” he said in his thick Russian accent.
“Well, you can take some time to mingle if you’d want,” Devin said, patting Alexey’s plump biceps and slapping his protruding pecs as if he were testing the hood of a car. “But when you’re ready, the changing room is–”
Alexey started stripping off his clothes on the spot. As he tossed each article away, they landed on Devin. He shivered as he took a deep breath of the musky garments before gently removing them and setting them on the edge of the stage. He nearly collapsed when he saw Alexey’s bloated muscular body in all its glory, barely stuffed into shiny gold posing trunks.
“Oh my gosh, you’re pre-oiled,” Devin said breathlessly as he took in Alexey’s shiny skin.
The confident musclepile hopped up on the stage and started strutting around, reaching forward and pulling his arms toward his torso as he thrust his sternum up and squeezed his pecs with all his might. Then he learned forward and brought his fists together, his upper body seeming so pumped it may explode at any second.
Zeb, bouncing his beefy ass nearby on a seated old man (who couldn’t stop fanning his face as the porn star gyrated) gave Alexey a thumbs-up. “Looking good bud! You do movies?”
Alexey returned the thumbs up. “I would love to be in action movies one day!” he replied.
Zeb nodded and licked his lips. “Oh yeah, you would get plenty of action.” Another wealthy man waved a wad of cash in Zeb’s face and dug his finger into the waistband of his jockstrap and tugged the big hunk toward a private room nearby. “Damn, I really wanted to see this show,” Zeb muttered as he disappeared into the closed quarters.
Devin was elated as Alexey stirred the crowd into a frenzy. “Oh yes, big man, doing GREAT! Just… if you could do your posing over THERE…” he directed toward the large metallic presses. Alexey nodded, so swept up in his performance that he had barely taken in the strange devices on the stage. He lumbered between the presses and placed his hands on his hips, squeezing his lats as hard as he could. The enormously built man seemed a foot wider than he had moments before.
“Perfect!” Devin said, hovering his hand over the bright green ignition button. Just before he slapped it down, Alexey took a step.
The goliath slipped in a small puddle of Jay’s sweat left from the earlier performance. He tumbled onto his broad, thick back as Devin smashed the button.
The presses slammed together as the audience gasped. As the presses pulled apart, what looked like a thick tan disc spun like a coin before wobbling around, coming to rest flast on the stage.
“Oh, well, this isn’t… what I expected…” Devin said. He walked toward the tan flesh-frisbee and nudged it with his foot.
Looking down on it, he could see the top of Alexey’s head, squashed flat on the rest of him. It was like a birds-eye view of the bodybuilder, who had glanced slightly up just before his reshaping. His eyes stared blankly back at Devin, just visible above his pecs, which hadn’t perfectly compressed. They stood up like to round bulges on the disc. Devin gave them a squeeze and smiled at the way his hands sank into them. On the edge of the disc it was clear Alexey’s cock had slipped from his posers at the last moment, leaving it visible on the circle, exposed now for all time.
Devin picked up the heavy circle and flipped it, admiring the other side (which was simply a two-dimensional view of Alexey from below). “Well, not a total failure,” he said, heaving the flattened mass toward the nearby cube. Once inside, Devin activated it. With a rush of steam, the “coin” Alexey had become shrank down to a quarter of its size. Devin palmed it, admiring the still protruding pecs, and slapped it on the cover of his book. “Oh wow, it’s like a mousepad. This will be perfect!”
Devin knew that after a few more athletes, he would have a book worth millions of dollars. The crowd didn’t seem as excited. Many had already left, while others were simply waiting in line for a turn with Mr. Atlas.
Zeb stumbled out of a room, wiping off the cum spattered over his chest. “Thank god nobody got it in my hair,” he said, grabbing a knife off a nearby table and giving his coiffure a once-over. “Still looking good.”
Zeb walked away from the pawing men and hopped up on the stage. “Hey, where’d that big Russian stud go?” Zeb asked Devin, who awkwardly held the book behind his back. “He still here? That guy made Skye Woods look small.”
“He’s, uh… AROUND, somewhere,” Devin said, bursting into a fit of hysterics at his pun. Once he realized no one else had joined in on the mirth, he cleared his throat and composed himself.
“Hey, what’s this?” Zeb said, grabbing the book from behind Devin’s back. “Oh cool, it’s like a flattened out little guy on the cover. Very artistic,” Zeb said, rubbing his hands over the soft pec mounds rising up from the Alexey-disc. “Hey, this little guy has gold trunks like the Russian.” Zeb opened the book and flipped through to find the flattened out Jay inside. “Wow, he’s dressed exactly like Jay was.”
Zeb raised an eyebrow as he started to work things out. As the muscular stud pondered, he noticed the two-dimensional Jay Cutler moving and twitching. He closed the book and saw the cover shivering as well. Each time Zeb touched the circle-of-man, it tittered. Zeb held the book up to his face. Devin went white as both he and Zeb took in the soft moaning of the men trapped within. As they became accustomed to their new circumstances, Jay and Alexey were starting to find their voices once again.
“Is this book… whimpering?” Zeb asked. “Wait, I can hear their voices!” His jaw dropped open. He turned to Devin. “It sounds like Jay and that Russian guy! They’re moaning and asking for help!”
Devin reached for the book but Zeb jerked away. He took a few steps back… right between the giant metallic press.
“Now Zeb,” Devin said carefully. “I can explain. You’re right: this is a very avant garde art piece! And Alexey and Jay are both safe, I assure you. In fact, if you give me that book, I will absolutely explain to you how I made all of this and what’s going on.”
Zeb, unknowingly backing right into his own doom, paused. “This whole event was weird, but… you’re up to something, man! No way am I giving you back this book!”
“I’ll pay you fifty-thousand dollars,” Devin offered.
“Deal.” Zeb immediately tossed the book back to Devin, who stomped down on the green button.
As the presses pulled back, the flattened out man collapsed to the floor like a life-size cutout of himself. A loud groan came from the crowd as their beloved sex worker was turned into a living poster. Devin lifted up Zeb, whose face was frozen in confusion, his full lips hanging open, his muscular body still warm but lacking all of its pleasing bulges and mounds. Zeb’s cock head had been poking up just above his jockstrap before he was squashed. It was now visible forever.
“You meddling imbecile,” Devin said, rolling up Zeb, starting from his toes, into a tight tube. “I only wanted professional athletes in my book! I’m not putting some lascivious porn star in there. What am I going to do with you now?”
“I’ll pay a million for him!” said a mustachioed man in a bow tie.
“Two million!” said a chubby fellow in a powder blue suit.
Devin smirked. Finally this crowd was interested in his work!
“I’ll tell you what,” Devin said, unlatching the cube and placing the Zeb-tube within. “We’ll start the official bidding in just a moment… but it will be for the entire book!” After a rush of steam from the cube, Devin opened it up and removed a hand-sized “scroll”--unfurled, it was a little rag of a man. Devin held it to his face and inhaled Zeb’s thick masculine smell. He held it up to his ear. Zeb’s voice had shrunk just like the rest of him, a faint whisper now. “What’s that, Zeb? Don’t sell you? Too late! You’ve been bought and sold all day!”
Devin opened the book and gently laid Zeb inside on Jay’s page, leaving the two men pec-to-pec, groin-to-groin. “Now, Zeb, you’ll be the bookmark!” He slapped the book shut (causing Alexey’s pec mounds to jiggle). The top of Zeb’s head, just to his sultry eyes, stuck out of the edge of the book.
The whole book stunk of muscles and sweat now. He could feel it all vibrating as the three men within tried to move their dimensionless bodies uselessly. He could hear all of them begging to be turned back, but it didn’t matter. The crowd had moved on the stage, hungry to get the book. Devin didn’t care that they probably only wanted the Zeb-bookmark. He was going to sell his art and get the money his genius deserved. What had seemed like a disaster of an event could not have turned out more successfully.
