M·Arena - Production progress and some explanations
🕑 Added 2025-06-20 12:13:43 +0000 UTCThere are quite a few things to be changed and made this time, so it will take more time. I plan to update the game next week.
(1) Regarding the new character of this time - Caliglow:
Her battle image can be seen in the picture I sent. I made some special designs for her different levels, among which the third level can be flexibly transformed. I have attached her skill overview. Friends who are interested can take a look.
(2) Trial Section: I mentioned this part last time. I removed the previous two maps and added two new ones, namely 'Centaur Ruins' and 'Mechanical Corridor'. All the monsters are female, and the boss battles have the same combat dynamic illustrations as the dueling characters. You can refer to the pictures. This time, I also optimized some of the trial map designs. For example, defeated monsters will disappear instead of remaining. However, whether you escape, fail or win, your health won't be restored. There will be some health recovery points and treasure chests in the trial maps. After defeating the boss, you can also open the treasure chest behind her. Another new design is the growth monsters. Every time the protagonist levels up or improves some attributes, the monsters will grow. But don't worry, the increase won't be too much. This is just to make the later battles a bit more balanced.
(3) Equipment: This is the part with the most changes and additions. As you can see in the pictures, I have added equipment enhancement, equipment refinement, and equipment sets. The protagonist's growth is no longer solely dependent on purchasing equipment and leveling up. You have more choices in the equipment upgrade path! (Of course, you need to have enough materials. Materials can be obtained in the trial maps. I will create an exchange store where you can use fragments to exchange for equipment, as well as corresponding enhancement stones, refinement stones, and more. Note: The pictures are only tentative reference pictures. The specific settings will be based on the final game update display.)
Other Notes: (1) This update has many changes. I will delete some things from the old version or modify some of its contents. This means that old saves may not be compatible with the new version. But I believe this will be a better and more refreshing experience. (2) I will fix and optimize the bugs that some friends mentioned before. (3) The last note is a question I've been thinking about recently. The game-making software can only support a limited number of pictures (the system states a maximum of 500 pictures, but this game already has 2000-4000 pictures). I can already feel its impact on game development, but I don't know if it will affect your gaming experience. After this version update, I will test and observe your feedback. If necessary, I will split this game (equivalent to two separate games without common elements, but I will try my best to connect the story and process).
Thank you very much for your support. If you have any questions, please let me know.

That guy
T-4 looks amazing. I hope this "regular monster" overhaul paves the way for "regular monsters" to also have a couple moves/scenes each!
