Weekly Updates: May 30, 2025
🕑 Added 2025-05-30 17:00:12 +0000 UTCSo its the first update post Belle's Burstin' Bistro.
So far, the reaction seems to be that everyone likes playing it. I haven't heard much about the replay value except for one person saying it didn't have much incentive to do it more than once. Which fair, was hoping wanting to beat your record was a good enough motivator but at least they enjoyed it.
Sold like 20 copies with another one being someone's YCH comm so :Y neat~
Did I learn a lot? Yes~ Did I get a bunch of ideas for how to make a better sequel? Yes~ Will it happen soon? Probably not, but it is planned.
The Game Dev bug has bitten me and part of me wants to figure out a routine to get game deving included in my work flow lmao but I'll figure that out later
I have an idea for a detective style game centered around the Shapeshifter ocs I have that I really wanna do~

Now, onto the next project. According to the votes, its gonna be the Objection.lol Ace Attorney case. Which good, that's a project I've been wanting to finish and felt bad for abandoning.
This week, I didn't get much done due to stuff getting in the way (I work on comms in the morning which means any plans has to be left for the afternoon which risks interrupting my project working time) so all I did was proof read what I've done last year.
Which was a lot
every frame is a line written
I will say, I feel its very obvious I wrote a lot of this late at night cause the grammatical errors in a few areas was really silly and hard to think how it happened.
Highlight was realizing I wrote "I saw all those empty and they were empties" and I couldn't believe I had written that lmao
Anyways, as you can see, the game over and endings are not yet finished so I will be spending this time finishing up the script and sharing it with friends for them to proof read for me :p
Afterwards, the art >:3 which will be fun to do. Fun fact, I had decided to redo a lot of assets in this project to reflect my style instead of the game's. So thats a lot but I am eager to do it since its easier than having to painstackingly copy the style several times for both Maya and Poppy
Anyways, that's all for now! See y'all next week!
