Pledges Paused
🕑 Added 2022-02-26 16:40:23 +0000 UTCI said I would have something for you this month and I don't so that's a pause. No action required on your end, if you do nothing then your pledge will resume next month.
We're both still making progress and there haven't been any setbacks, I'm just not ready to do an update yet. Despite that, I'm optimistic about how it's going, I just need to keep you waiting a bit longer. Sorry for the delay and any disappointment, I'm looking forward to the next update myself.

Have you considered just blogging every two months instead?

I've had this same problem, and I posted in my discord that I had too many roadblocks to be able to post any updates and that I'd go radiosilent until things had progressed enough to create an update worth making. That lasted around 3 weeks to a month and we've made some progress just not that much but enough to make a small update at least. So I completely understand where you're coming from with that. Ultimately, I would say, if you're running into roadblocks or you're otherwise gathering progress too slowly, don't be afraid to just say "Pledges will remain paused until I have an update worth offering" or something like that. Personally, I'm against you pausing your pledges because you do still need to eat and possibly pay people in the future. And while I'm sure you have far more money than I do even without patreon, the fact is that if you pause too much it could get in the way of your productivity. But I also recognize that you're doing this because you feel you have to so I'm not going to argue beyond what I just said. Just be sure to let us know when something's coming up.
