Honestly, the romance was on another level with the descriptions and the setting, which touched my heart especially with the easing of anxiety and the taking care against the cold. The soundscapes from the party to the walk outside to the stream were so immersive and brought me right into the scene and had my imagination sparking with each moment. There was such a genuine flow of conversation where I felt like it was happening in real time with some of the responses, and that's something I always enjoy about your choice of words and the pauses for the muse to fill in the blanks.
