[Public] Stretch Goal Changes.
🕑 Added 2020-02-07 23:59:24 +0000 UTCDue to some changes in my personal living situation and increasing prices from a few of the voice actors that are helping me make Beauties of Blackfall I have updated the stretch goals to be a little more accurate with what I need to continue funding this project.
A lot of the people I've been working with are really nice and willing to negotiate prices to match my budget but id rather be clear on what I might need to make sure everyone is properly paid without going broke myself.
Goal #1 $250 A Month- Bare Minimum Funding
Goal #2 $500 A Month- Soundtrack/ Music
Goal #3 $750 A Month- Voice Acting/ Sound Design
Goal #4 $1000 A Month- More Content , Scenes, & Areas
Goal #5 $1200 A Month- 2 New Characters
Goal #6 $1500 A Month- 5 New Characters
Added- New Goal
Goal #7 $2500 A Month- 1 Unique Community Character
Reaching this goal means I could probably do my art full time with just Patreon alone, so we should probably do a really special community event and invite a character created entirely by you guys if this goal is ever met.
As a side note here's a little glimpse into some of the stuff you guys help me pay for on a monthly basis by supporting this Patreon.
Necessities [Without this I probably couldn't work on the game.]
-Internet Connection
-Art Programs [Monthly Adobe Fees, Animation/ Drawing Software, Reference Guides/ Learning Tools, & Dev Tools/ Game Assets.]
-Emergency Food & Other Needs
-Time [I actually have time to work on my ideas with your help through Patreon.]
Game Development [Expenses towards the game's development aren't directly paid on a monthly basis like my necessities are but a lot of what I make here is saved and used later to add all the parts of the game.]
-Art/ Visuals & Animation [Some of the art is being finished by other talented folks but a majority of it is done by me. Whenever the art is done by me all I really need is my drawing programs and enough time to work on the art. Art done by other people is usually paid for if it's not for some kind of collaboration/ trade.]
-Music [There's still a lot of music I want to add to the game but once most of it is finished I'll dedicate the income that was directed towards making the music over to finishing the voice work.]
-Voice Acting [Could get really expensive.]
-Sound Design [A lot of the smaller sound effects and sound design will be done by me but I will be hiring some more professional help to make sure the game's sound effects are clean enough for launch if I'm able to in the future.]
-DEV TIME [Again, probably the most important thing is the time I need to work on all my ideas. Animations, game development, and managing everything is extremely time consuming, so it's important that I have a decent cushion to continue working.]
