Progress Sneak Peek - v0.5
🕑 Added 2020-06-13 03:53:22 +0000 UTCHey Everyone!
There is a lot of news to report about the progress of Lucky Paradox, although not everything is rosy.
As some of you here know, apart from working at Lucky Paradox, I also have a separate job, plus Iām studying at the University, and sometimes there are a lot of problems with my schedule. The past week has been very hard for me, and I've barely slept at all. However, I know it is my duty to make progress with Lucky Paradox so the little time I had available during these days I have dedicated it entirely to code the night event system and it seems that it will be harder to do than I had originally planned, but I will do whatever it takes before I let this company die, because I think it will be a great addition for when it is finished, and it will give a lot of new possibilities of interaction.
Despite the above, I have made progress in other things regarding the game. I have invested a lot of the money I received from Patreon for two things: increasing my working speed and creating the soundtrack.
To increase the speed and quality, I have invested in new components for my computer: 4 DDR4 Ram cards of 16 GB each, a 1TB SSD, a new motherboard and a new cpu. This computer is the optimal one to be able to work in Lucky Paradox in the best way, without sudden crashing, without failures in the Android compilations and with the ease of having several programs open that consume RAM simultaneously.
As for the music, I think it's something that will give Lucky Paradox a lot of personality and I think I've found the perfect guy for it. So far, three new songs have been completed and will be added in the next version. I would like someday Lucky Paradox to have its own soundtrack, which will be given to all the Patrons that have made this possible.
Finally, the night events system needs variations of the already existing scenarios. Some scenarios have been improved in small details. In the picture, you can see that Maxy's door, which is now purple with a black frame, instead of black with a white frame as before.
During this weekend I'm gonna work as hard as I can, so I can make up for lost time.
Making Lucky Paradox a better game is my best way to thank you for all the support you've given me so far!
Thanks a lot for making this possible and see you soon with other news of the incoming update <3
I send you all a big hug :D
See you next time!
