I find some of their ideas about full future communism not only stupid but actively undesirable. Maybe I’m not Marxist philosophy brained enough. Is there not on some level a human desire for simplicity? I don’t think it has to be a reactionary impulse. I think they underestimate the amount of people who would rather live in quiet community than in ridiculous mega project fantasies. But then I realize that most of what they talk about is just speculation for its own sake

I like when these guys are on, even when what they say comes off as ridiculous to me I can’t deny it’s thought provoking. Smart guys. The educational aspects of full communism/DotP was very interesting.
