Great ending song I have to say. I might be a little biased but the ex Yugo music scene has so many gems that have barely aged

If anyone here is new to TENEpod and/or liked The Antifada’s “Proletkult” episode series, you NEED to check out TENEpod’s “The F-Files” series, especially vol. III (pt. 1-5) & vol. IV (pt. 1 + 2)!!
The Antifada
even the hudson valley where im from has a story that the colonial stone walls that are everywhere were built by the iroquois. probably not true but its good to have lore

Y'all I am 1/4 Croatian, 3rd gen. I have been wanting to revisit my roots and this episode is so providential in that regard!

I spent a month working in Bosnia and one day the locals on the team started telling me about the pyramid. None of them knew much about it, but they were all in agreement that it was real, and ancient. It's funny to me that a crank theory would gain so much traction, but I guess every place has a similar thing. Some folks in Nova Scotia think that Cape Breton had an ancient Chinese trading post.

Two of my favorite shows join forces! Great episode!

And yeah, the dude that told that story to Andy about the Dalmatinska zagora (the region up in the interior from Split) was almost certainly fucking with him. Locals definitely know of the region as a film location for German-produced Westerns, but I've never heard anything like the story Andy got. Sometimes if people sense you're kind of oblivious about the region, they might fuck with you.

"Cursed Balkan Comments" makes sense when you understand it's all teenagers posting at each other from their parents' apartments in Zurich and Stockholm.

Heartening to see "gay" still being used as a pejorative, at least in Cursed Balkan YouTube Comments
