Interested by your passing comments about the PMC. Have you discussed this more in depth in other episodes? Would be interested what you think of Catherine Liu's book. It had moments of brilliance but most the middle was like a Daily Mail column. I intuitively like the PMC thesis (as loosely defined as it is), but sounds like you think different. Calling it a moral critique is interesting. Great episode btw.

It kind of feels like some desires expressed on this podcast for the last year or so was naturally leading here. Dugin is exciting to grapple with because the guy is smart and draws from a kaleidoscope of sources, this isn’t like flipping through the NYT or WSJ opinion section for the umpteenth time or like one of those “What’s new deal with the dang Popular Front” cycles. Hearing a ex-Trot, ex-Communiseur, and a ex-rightwinger engage with his critique is juicy stuff and doesn’t feel like having the same conversation over again.
