Appreciated this thoughtful response and the analysis of uncritical national liberation politics displacing a communist view of the struggle against apartheid

I dunno bout using the Financial Times as the go-to source for Palestine-Israel info.

If I lived outside a modern day Warsaw Ghetto, with remotely-operated machine gun towers pointing inwards at my fellow humans living lives of utter privation, I would not be surprised or horrified if they killed me. I love my family and my neighbours but I don't love them enough to countenance the thought of living happy lives a mile from a fence like that, especially in a country where you legally have to join the Ghetto Border Guard organisation.
