Early bird: OLED Gotek Screen Repair
🕑 Added 2025-04-02 17:31:13 +0000 UTCHere's a little project that took a few weeks from start to end, where I try to fix the OLED screen on my Amstrad PCW's Gotek Drive, and while I'm tinkering, attempt a RAM upgrade with some help from fellow Patreon, Russell Ventura! I hope you enjoy this Venture(a).

Yes that's really sad. I don't understand why they wouldn't just keep the name. It's like me buying Commodore and renaming it Perifractic's Computers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Have you heard about WH Smith in the uk being brought out and soon to be re-named TG Jones? Sad cause WH Smith has a certain nostalgia attached to its name from the past, when it used to sell retro computers, games and music.

Great content, but a point lost for using the Hi8 camera. I know I'm in the minority, but it's still not doing it for me.
