Streets of Gape 2 (v7) Released!
🕑 Added 2020-04-05 01:13:36 +0000 UTCStreets of Gape 2 is an ongoing spoof TC project, replacing (eventually) all main characters and enemies of Streets of Rage 2, for the Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive, if you're a non-Yank). Yes, straight up actual Streets of Rage 2, in the ROM file. This baby's playable on emulators. NOTE: Demo is subject to change, considering the current instability of hacking the file, as it is. This hack is based off of Syndicate Wars ver. 0.9. All enemies are playable as of this moment, but we're not thinking about keeping the feature. Bugs you run into with the playable version of enemies are at your own discretion.
No, fellows, we did not go AWOL on any of ya. But, one-man projects are hard when the workload gets juggled around with life and the human malware which mustn't be named (and don't worry, this has been scanned for no malware in it either).
DOWNLOAD HERE!!! (Runs with Kega Fusion by default, but you can use your own emulator, or even write it to a real cart. Setup instructions included for your control method.)

Rhubella, Sphymm, and Deborah have been reworked, Gunther removed (buggy as hell currently). Bunker added as biker. Items Apple and Chicken are now tinctures and weed bongs respectively. All avatar pics have been retouched. Several enemy name changes to stay topical. A few changes to palettes have been retooled. Bounding boxes and weapon offsets readjusted.
