This page may look simple, but my gosh it was a beast to render and problem solve for! Hopefully the concept comes across clearly though... otherwise all that work... shall be for naught....

I am loving maskless Thistle, but a part of me has missed her poofy sleeves! 😂

It's so good! I love all the glows and I'm so excited to see this full storm happen! Also, like everyone else, I love the consideration for what Thistle sees vs. what's real. I try to think about this in my D&D game since I have glamoured armor and can change its appearance and it can be HARD.

The storm says "Hey that was my favorite stump you JERK"
Black Ice Gryphon
She forgot that she was carrying her bag because she couldn't see it through the glamour/illusion so it snagged on the tree branch and she remembered it was there even if she can't see it.

Oh, this is good! It always bothers me a little when vision sequences in fantasy stories don't take account of all the real stuff that's still physically there.

It looks really good but I'm confused by the bag bit?
Lia Graf
Yes it does, loud and clear, nicely done you two!
Anne Welborn
Wow! - the lighting, the colours, - just well everything. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

Aaaaaah thistle! I love the suspense building

Wow! Just .. wow

This begs a real question which I can't remember if I have asked in the past: Do mages act as lightning rods to these 'storms'? I can imagine thistle finally getting to the shelter door before getting 'struck'
I think it's beautiful! and the action comes across great! I love the top two panels simultaneously showing us what Thistle sees and what is "real" (her bag). It's a nice little reminder for us, too, as readers, that we are seeing her "vision" vision... hmmm, k. I'm past my bedtime and probably incoherent. But yeah! Well done! All the work is recognized and applauded!
