The Church of Adonitology
🕑 Added 2024-09-16 02:20:13 +0000 UTCThe Church of Adonitology is a controversial new-age religion created by Selaikic enthusiasts on social media in light of the ongoing rediscovery of Selaikic history. What initially began as a gimmick evolved into an official religion when groups in the US started writing manifestos and meeting in person. In the 2010s, these groups established the official Church of Adonitology, with "King Adonis" leading the movement. The majority of its members are based in the US.
The church has places of worship and operates various businesses, with most of its profits coming from nightclubs.
Models who are in the church are provided free services to surgicals to enlarge their posteriors so they can be part of a special elite in the Church.
According to the church's beliefs, Adonis was visited by three Selaikic angelic beings who instructed him to form a religion to preserve the Selaikic faith.
Their beliefs combine different conflicting theologies, all centered around the worship of Selaiki and alleged female empowerment. They claim that the Selaiki were responsible for forming world religions and led ancient civilizations such as Persia, Harapa, Egypt, and Carthage. Additionally, they believe that the Selaiki did not go extinct but are either in hiding or have returned to the land of their ancestors via some spacecraft. These claims are conspiracy theories and are not based on fact.
In reality, the Church of Adonitology's main draw is its status as a parody religion, focusing on sexual themes rather than substantive beliefs. The church has been known to distort historical events to fit its theology, and it is crucial to call them out on these practices to prevent people from falling into the grips of a cult.
