This is the most accurate and up to date map of the Bahdi empire AKA Bactria.
This region consisted of city-states in the Bactria-Margiana valley, between the Pamir and Hindu Kush mountains in northern Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. The area served as a passage for the migration of people from the Indus Civilization, leading to a rapid settlement of the Selaiki people. Over time, these city-states gradually formed a single political entity around the first millennium BC. At its peak, this civilization had the largest population of Selaiki people and was the most renowned of its time. Its contributions to selaikic history and culture would last centuries after its demise.
The Bahdi Empire was slowly partitioned by the Median Empire in 650 BC under Esarhaddon.
" Tribute and contributions for my lordship I imposed on them. Patusharri, a land of the salt desert, amid the land of the distant Medes, by Bikni, the lapis lazuli mountain. on whose soil none of the kings of my fathers had ever set foot." - Esarhaddon
"Bikni" is a mountain in Bahdi that deposited lapis.
