The Idalia update is taking a bit longer than I originally expected. The reason: thanks to the rapid pace of technical developments and exciting new tools, I decided to take a few days to experiment with some new models and workflows.
The good news is, this extra effort seems to be paying off! I believe I can now significantly improve the quality of the animations. That’s especially exciting because, until now, the results didn’t always reflect the amount of time and work going into them. While things aren’t perfect yet, the improvements are already promising, and you’ll likely notice the difference in the upcoming update.
That said, I’ve made good progress with the update itself and expect to release it on May 26.

Hey! Yeah, I could definitely integrate that into the talk button. Or did you have something else in mind? That was actually my original plan, but I haven’t had the chance to expand on it yet. It would be pretty cool if you could hear something about the character's backstory or have a bit of small talk. I’m also open to other ideas.. Probably won’t make it into this update, but it’s definitely possible later on.

Sounds good! Do you think you could add a bit more dialogue too? Even if it's something repetitive after speaking to someone again, it's better than no dialogue at all.
