First Christmas!

This is our very first Christmas together since starting development just a few months ago. Merry Christmas! Thank you so much for your support this year! I hope you have a wonderful time celebrating, wherever you might be on the planet.
I had some fresh breakthroughs in image generation again, allowing for significantly better quality. I’m currently revising the scene with Grace—here’s a little before-and-after:

It’s crazy how quickly things are moving, and it can be tough to keep up, especially when it’s just a hobby. I’ll need to revisit older scenes as well, although sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it, because in a few months I’ll have made more progress and end up redoing everything again. But that’s just the way it goes.
I didn’t quite reach my financial goals, so I’ll have to keep working my “normal” job full-time and continue development as a hobby. But maybe that’s not such a bad thing — after all, I think it’s healthy to keep at least one foot in reality. My passion for development remains as strong as ever, and I have plenty of new ideas in mind that I want to bring to life. I expect to roll out one or two more minor updates before I dive into version 0.7, which will be a major release that should really elevate the game — I’m planning on introducing battles, which will finally bring the army into play. That might take until spring, depending on how much free time I can devote to it. But I’m already excited for the day the game reaches that milestone!
It still feels wonderfully strange to me, in the best way, that so many people (now over two hundred!!!) enjoy this project and even choose to support it financially. Even though I’m already quite motivated on my own, that support really does a lot to keep me going. So, a huge, huge, huge thank you to all of you, dear Patrons!
