This game looked so good, it made me create a GOG account, and buy other immersive sims. I do have suggestions to playing some games, but they have actually decent online communities, and you're far too popular to not inadvertently destroy and dismember them.

Thank you goat. Could I suggest reviewing (I'm guessing most people have already suggested them at some point): Patrician 3, Spellforce or Supreme Commander (1/2). If you want even more old games and a bit of an acid trip (some phrases from this game are burned into my memory) I can suggest Pirates: Captain's Quest, good luck running it on modern systems though. This came in a cereal box and I think I played and replayed it for years, even better than Sea of Thieves: https://www.mobygames.com/game/36055/pirates-captains-quest/
