this contains a patched executable and the whole expansion for free, is it legal? don't know, but the publisher isn't distributing it anymore:

For DOS games I really like DFend Reloaded
https://sourceforge.net/projects/dfendreloaded/
Just drag and drop DOS .zips into the main window to unpack and click the entry to play
it's really easy and you can customize profiles for each game
for downloading games just look up "DOS game abandonware" and you should be able to find a bunch
CTRL F11 and F12 to tune the clockspeed, going too high can have similar effects to going too low

You should check out Lobotomy Corp. The story is actually insane and the gameplay is well described by one of the devs as, "the struggles of Sisaphus in game form." Or something like that. Also it's cheap and made by a dev team of 10, and probably one of my favorite games of all time cbt aside.
