It isn't planned but it can be easily done. Once you open the project with Unity Hub, you can go to the package manager and uninstall Universal Render Pipeline package. Then install the High Definition package and follow the wizard. The scene may not be properly converted but the shaders will work for example. Hope this helps :)
I like this shader a lot; Are you planning to release a HDRP version of the shader? It would be a great asset :)
