The background noise in the unedited one is more relaxing, the white noise in the background sounds more natural and cozy in a way

Prefer the un-edited, as Solstice wrote, feels more comfy or natural? The slight echo in the edited feels abit off

Instantly on starting the edited version I got a "Darth Vader" vibe, like the sound was bouncing off metal or something. I find that I much prefer the cicadas and my padded walls in the basement. 😁 (Edit: I just had a terrible thought. **Darth Pillow**. The world is not ready...)
