PATREON SNEAK PEAK: The City of the Black Rose Campaign Setting COVER REVEAL!!!!
🕑 Added 2025-03-07 12:36:41 +0000 UTCIT'S HERE! The first proofs of our very first campaign setting have hit the desks of Roll & Play Press! DOESN'T IT LOOK INCREDIBLE?!
We can now also reveal that the Kickstarter for the City of the Black Rose campaign setting (compatible for ALL fantasy RPGs) will be launching on APRIL 7th 2025!
You can follow the Kickstarter here if you haven't already, and be among the first to help us make this proof a reality.
In the coming weeks we'll have Roll and Play Press' Kay and Sam back on the podcast to talk about the process of bringing the world of COTBR to print, what characters we can expect to see included, and diving into the work of the writers and artists that'll make this possible.
Have you got any questions you'd like Kay, Sam or Jeremy to answer? Let us know in comments and we'll ask them!
We wouldn't be here doing this without your support. Thank you so much for giving black-lead businesses the opportunity to connect and create things like this. You're all rad as hell!!!

That looks amazing! I can't wait. As a question: What the challenges of converting things you have made for this awesome and turning that into a resource for others? Also, what sort of goodies will be available at higher tiers on the Kickstarter? I'm excited to back it!

Great! I can’t wait to purchase the print copy. Questions: Was making the system game agnostic difficult? I love the special guests using different game systems. Was that planned out from the beginning? What are some of the challenges to putting together a successful Kickstarter? How can we help get the word out about the Kickstarter?
