UIAssist & BrowserAssist Progress Update
🕑 Added 2022-04-29 13:47:04 +0000 UTCI've been busy working on both the UIAssist and BrowserAssist plugins over the last few weeks.
The next version of UIAssist is nearly ready for release. As well as a range of bug fixes, the following new features will be available.
- New button operations to alter the Control State of all atom nodes (eg. head, hands, feet etc). Each node can be independently set to a control state (e.g. On/Off/Comply etc) for both Position and/or Rotation.
- New button operations to set all or specific physics settings (e.g. Spring, Damper, Force and Comply thresholds) on each node of a target atom.
- Improved the Toggle Merge Clothing Preset functionality so it now distinguishes between presets that contain the same clothing items but different parameter settings. So now if you have two clothing presets that contain the same items but have, for example, different colors - UIAssist will correctly distinguish between these so you can toggle between them independently.
Some good progress made on BrowserAssist also. There is now the ability to launch it from a button on the native VAM UI. Resources are now paginated across multiple screens and you can zoom in and out changing the icon size of resources. Additionally the browser can be made full screen width or docked to the left or right screen edge. And it now works in VR also. Some screenshots available on Discord here https://discord.gg/EQPSKhZm2b. I hope to focus more on BrowserAssist next month.
Also for anyone that missed it I released a new free plugin on VAMHub earlier this month: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/forcepersoncache.17822/
