This motherfucker was going to get twisted into the world’s first pretzel. Aiko bared her teeth at Tobirama. She was going to break his bones, boil him, and salt him to taste.
He was whipping through the eight billion hand signs for a water dragon. Unfortunately for him, ninjutsu had gone through some significant developments and distribution between now and when she’d learnt it. She knew what it was and it was easy enough for her to counter. Nostalgia for Kakashi’s idiot showmanship made her counter with her own water dragon. She truncated the signs and overpowered with yin chakra to make it work, leaning on Rinnegan-induced expertise. The stressed widening of his eyes when he saw what she made was absolutely delicious. Bitch.
The two jutsu collided with an agonized shriek and a heavy crash.
The sound of Madara and Hashirama’s fight cut off abruptly as the dumb assholes finally paid attention to their surroundings.
Aiko didn’t have time to give a shit. She cut through the heavy spray ignoring the punishing force of heavy water. It was going to translate to full body bruises. It was worth it for the aghast shock on her opponent’s face when she burst out and hit him with enough force to send him skidding backward across the water like a skater bug.
Haha. Loser. Aiko was grinning as she followed up. She didn’t bother with any jutsu. She wanted the catharsis of getting her hands around his stupid neck and shaking. She wanted to dominate him. She wanted him to know that he was pathetically outclassed and he’d fucked up by interfering with her plans.
A new sense pinged. Aiko switched her momentum and flipped up, over what turned out to be a thick stalk of Mokuton.
Huh. She was still upside down in the air when she latched onto Hashirama’s jutsu and twisted for control.
He screamed. Pain? Surprise? She wasn’t sure. She sent the wood back at him with much less finesse than he had. The force was nothing to sneer at. She used the branch as a bar to catch herself and flip right side up again.
In the distance a voice she recognized as Izuna whooped in joy.
She darted her gaze over to check the situation more broadly.
Hmm. Tobirama bracing for impact on the river, Hashirama flinching on the land. Madara stared at her with spinning eyes in the distance. He was looking at her like he’d never noticed her before.
“Stand down!” Aiko barked, trying to de-escalate at least a little. She wasn’t here to kill anyone. She wanted to kick Tobirama’s ass but this could get out of control.
Hashirama wrested control of his mokuton back and then dismissed it, leaving the wood inert. He was full body shaking.
Poor baby had a shock.
Tobirama took advantage of her split attention to dart in with his sword on course to behead her. Like that was going to work? Aiko barked a laugh and caught the force with her forearm.
It flew off. There was a plop that she didn’t bother to look at.
Oh. Right. She didn’t have her arm guards on. Still, Tobirama really hadn’t been expecting that! Aiko grinned with wild abandon and took advantage of the opening to get her remaining hand around his neck, latching legs around his torso. Holy shit, her arm was off. It was so funny for some reason. She laughed, loud and bubbly.
“What is wrong with you?” He sounded scared.
She dug her bloody stump into his face. She didn’t know what was wrong with her, but it was pretty fucking fun.
He shrieked. Sure it hurt like a bitch but ha! His face!
“Priestess!” Hashirama sounded really stressed. “Perhaps we might discuss this more calmly?”
Aiko tightened her grip on her victim for a moment, both her hand on his racing pulse and her thighs around his ribcage. Bones creaked under her knees. She thought it over. “Do you think he knows that I’m better?” she asked archly. She grinned down into Tobirama’s horrified expression. Her blood was smeared all over his hair and jawline. She had the impulse to lick it off and hear him squeal again.
“You have made a convincing argument for peace,” Hashirama said. His voice sounded strained. “Should we bandage your arm?”
Eh. Aiko shrugged. The beheading resolved itself in pretty short order once she put her neck back on. “It’ll fix itself,” she said philosophically. “Although it would be very kind of you to fetch my arm.”
Madara moved before Hashirama did. Hashirama spluttered for words and didn’t seem to find them.
Wow. She should have tried this earlier. A little mutilation apparently worked to intimidate the boys.
‘It’s probably the mokuton thing,’ she internally acknowledged, to be fair. No one but Hashirama had been able to use it before this point in history. It was fair to be a little freaked out by someone taking control of your personal weapon.
“Priestess,” Madara said, super intent on her in a way that she was appreciating. He held up her hand and forearm carefully. It looked delicate in his broad hands. She liked the contrast.
She considered making a joke about holding hands being forward. It probably wasn’t the right time for it.
“You’re very kind to me,” Aiko said, and let go of Tobirama’s throat. She slithered down his body and then placed her palm on the center of his chest and pushed. He gratefully fell back from her. With him out of her personal space, she held out her stump. Madara guided the forearm back into place as if this was a thing with precedent in his life. She had to admire his aplomb.
The arm didn’t exactly snap or seal into place. Madara thoughtfully kept it in place, waiting patiently and warm. Aiko hummed in thought and then tugged her hair untied from the long ribbon.
He made a soft sound of comprehension. “Allow me.”
Aiko shook her hair free of the ends of the ribbon and passed it to him with thanks. She met Hashirama’s bewildered eyes from a distance. Tobirama had retreated near his brother and was attempting to subtly clean her blood from his face. Her captive audience of buried soldiers was straining to look at the tableau.
…Mission success, Aiko realized. There was nothing in the air that indicated the Uchiha and the Senju were thinking about fighting each other. Honestly, it kind of looked like they wanted to leave and pretend this had never happened.
Except Madara. He looked like he wanted to follow her home and sit on her porch. His pulse was jumping in his neck. She watched it, pleased like a cat, as he carefully reattached her forearm by winding the wide ribbon around. It was quickly soaked through with blood. It dripped down his warm hands without any flinch from him.
…Aiko rescinded all previous crushes on Uchiha. Sasuke? Deleted. Izuna? Forgotten. This was the one. She licked her lips and thought about biting his.
“Shall we have tea and discuss this situation?” Hashirama interrupted. He had rallied admirably. Just looking at him gave no indication that he’d been unnerved by anything. “Priestess, do you think that your acolytes will still have that tea
“Likely,” she said. “Shall we go?”
