Kinktober day 15: lingerie
🕑 Added 2022-10-15 07:38:15 +0000 UTCTsunade, as requested.
In all of the elemental nations, Tsunade could not find a decent fitting set of lingerie that met her specifications.
"I just want something that doesn't constrict at the neck, offers half decent support, and doesn't add 10 kg by gapping at the waist," Tsunade complained. She let her head fall back against the bole of the tree where they were stuck waiting for mission orders. "This is utterly ridiculous." She had checked every ladies’ store in Rice Country. First off, most of the clothes she found were ugly as hell. There were places that would do custom fittings, of course, but there was absolutely no chance in hell that some stranger was going to wrap measuring tape around Tsunade while she was still breathing.
"Yes," Orochimaru agreed with maximum indifference. "It is ridiculous."
She pretended that he was empathetic and not annoyed that she was talking about clothes. “Why isn’t there a market?” Tsunade ran a hand down her body. “Clearly, I exist. I cannot be the only woman with those specifications.”
Tsunade wasn’t blind. She had very unusual proportions. And yes, she also had some shinobi specific tics that affected what she was and wasn’t willing to wear. But it was ridiculous that she couldn’t find anything halfway wearable. Sure, she didn’t have a boyfriend now. But she would one day, and she deserved to look good.
The look that her teammate gave her was searing. “Perhaps,” he said slowly, “You might ask our teammate where to acquire speciality lingerie.”
Tsunade recoiled. Her head hit the tree. “Don’t say those words,” she hissed. She looked around to be sure that the word ‘lingerie’ in conjunction with his name had not summoned the bastard. Mercifully, there was no sign that he had returned from meeting whatever contact lived in the border town. “Do you think there’s any chance that the pervert wouldn’t, I don't know, go and smell every piece before delivering it to me?”
Orochimaru shrugged one shoulder elegantly. “Your options are few, and his connections are very specific. I am certain that he is familiar with women who have achieved your proportions via clever augmentations.” With that, he left her to wait alone.
She thought about it for a day. She didn’t say a thing as her team traveled back to Konoha. Tsunade really wanted Orochimaru to be wrong. But the bastard probably did know every woman in the Elemental nations who had gotten a boob job. He probably had a photobook and their addresses memorized, like a boobie bingo book.
So she found Jiraiya when he was by himself. Her dignity was already strained enough. She could not allow a witness to this.
“Hey, creep,” she said bluntly. She was already scowling.
Jiraiya jumped. He turned to look at her with a guilty expression.
Tsunade decided that she did not want to know. “You’re a massive pervert, right,” she drawled. Through sheer force of will, she was going to make this not weird. He could not ruin this for her.
“That is accurate,” Jiraiya said, suddenly more comfortable that he understood the interaction. He gave her a double thumbs up.
She sneered. “Do not speak a word,” Tsunade commanded. When he opened his mouth, she lifted a finger in threat. Jiraiya subsided. “I need lingerie that fits me, and the regular stores don’t have it,” she said bluntly. She was tearing off the bandage. The bastard’s eyes lit up with a gleam that made her want to punch him on principle. “I assume that you know where I can get something. Tell me. Say nothing else.”
He got a shitty little grin. He opened his horrible big mouth.
“If what you are about to say is not the name of a store,” Tsunade said dangerously. She didn’t finish the threat.
Jiraiya put both of his hands up in surrender.
She lifted a hand and scowled at him. Tsunade had never accepted a surrender in her life and today would not be the day that she started.
He backed away without saying a word. But he still had that horrible toothy grin.
“Die,” Tsunade whispered, eyes wide.
Jiraiya left.
So, that was a dead end. Or so she thought, until she got home a few hours later to find a nondescript package on her doorstep. Tsunade had a suspicion the moment that she saw it. But no, surely it couldn’t be that. So quickly? And discreetly? It would be much more his style to give it to her with an actual song and dance in Hokage Tower. She snatched up the brown paper package and brought it into her house.
No one else was in the Senju compound. It was the middle of the day, so Nawaki was in the Academy and everyone else was at work. So she opened the package at the kitchen table.
Her eyebrows slowly went up. Tsunade lifted up a delicate garment and held it into the light. It… wasn’t bad. She would have expected the creep to give her the nastiest, kinkiest thing that he could source just to make her uncomfortable. But it was a little blue satin slip with what looked like excellent tailoring. She felt the quality of the fabric, impressed. It- It looked like it would provide light support to her chest, hug her waist, and then flare out.
She had a sudden suspicion. Tsunade held the thinnest part up to her body and checked. It had about 2 cm excess. That was precise.
‘...He knows my measurements.’
She balled the garment up in her fist, suddenly mortified. Her face was red and hot. Tsunade marched to her room, determined to ignore this. But it really was a pretty thing, and it looked like it would fit her. And it was free.
So she tried it on. Tsunade pulled the dress on over her head and admired herself in the mirror. The hemline hit about 5cm down her thighs, flirting with danger with every movement. “It fits perfectly,” she murmured to herself. She turned to check out her rear. “I’m going to kick his ass.”
She did not, in fact, kick his ass. Tsunade arrived to team training the next day preemptively furious, waiting for him to giggle at her or brag about giving her such an intimate present.
But he never did. Oh sure, he was still a creep, but there was no discernible change in his behavior. Gradually, her defensiveness fell off.
‘It’s almost like he didn’t give me that. But no one else would have. No one else would know to.’
Tsunade hung back, taking her sweet time pulling senbon out of her target. Orochimaru left without a word. Then Jiraiya turned and made eye contact over his shoulder. He didn’t say anything. He didn’t have to, not with a knowing look like that in his eye.
“What,” she demanded. Her hackles were instantly up.
Jiraiya shrugged, a careless little smile playing with one side of his mouth. “Nothing, nothing,” he said. Idly, he stuck a senbon in the corner of his mouth. “Do you like green?”
Tsunade looked at him. She sucked the inside of her cheek.
‘He’s getting off on this,’ she realized. ‘He gave me that dress so that he can think about me wearing it. And he wants to give me more lingerie’
He truly was disgusting. Therefore, he would keep providing her with expensive garments. Tsunade was many things, but ‘cheap’ was high on the list. So she nodded. “Sage green,” she said. She put a hand on her hip and watched the way his eyes darted to follow the motion. She had to repress a snort. He was so helpless. Tsunade felt a little thrill at her own power. She wasn’t even doing anything, and yet he was all but begging for the chance to buy her things that he would never get to see her wear. “Gold as well,” she hummed. She put a finger to her chin. “And black. Lace.”
Jiraiya swallowed. His eyes slowly made their way back up her body to her face. “Right,” he said, in a strangled tone. “All great colors, very good,” he babbled.
She smiled dangerously.
He ran away.
There was a little package in brown paper waiting every night for the next week. Jiraiya couldn’t make eye contact with her. He never spoke about it again.
For a while she felt very clever. But then the first time that Tsunade wore lingerie for a boyfriend, she thought about Jiraiya.
