Other Utakata drabble (AIC)
🕑 Added 2018-08-30 03:23:08 +0000 UTC “Aiko.”Utakata stood in the doorway. If Aiko was a more romantic person, she’d say that he looked very handsome and dramatic. The warm daylight lit up his face perfectly, made his perfectly quaffed hair glimmer like gold, and his silks shone like jewels.
So obviously, he’d planned it that way. Out of the corner of her eye, Aiko could see it was the time that he’d mentioned providing the most flattering lighting possible.
What a shinobi would normally do with that information, she didn’t know.
And he’d dropped any pretense of a title, standing there in the doorway to her back garden.
So he’d walked around the Mizukage’s house, over the fence and gutters, and into her backyard to have the most flattering and dramatic entrance possible.
She just wished she’d seen him hiking his kimono up to clamber over it- but then again, he probably just used chakra (or a Saiken bubble, the showoff) to walk over.
“How long are you going to stand there?” Aiko asked. “I assume you didn’t come here to model in my house.”
His eyebrow twitched slightly, indicating that he was trying to be fancy instead of sassing her immediately.
“Would you like some company, Aiko?” He extended his long, elegant arm towards her, as if offering for her to take his hand.
“I don’t know if I have time, Utakata.” It was true. She had so much to do, crimes in other countries to commit, maniacs to kill… She wasn’t just double-booked, she was quadruple-booked. She really sympathized with Tsunade’s predilection for fleeing the office for a dive bar.
He glided in, delicately leaving his outside shoes behind. He barely paused to take them off- did he practice these things? When? Was he somehow not busy enough?
Sanbi snickered.
A second later, Utakata was in her personal space. Not touching, but close enough that most other people would have gotten a reflexive sen tsurara to the heart.
“You should make time, Aiko.” Utakata said quietly. “You are far too busy, and spreading yourself too thin.”
Oh. OHHH.
Aiko held out her arm, and he took it with both hands at the wrist. His right hand lightly brushed her sleeve up to her shoulder, as the other gently pulled her hand to his mouth.
He made eye contact as he kissed the inside of her wrist, deliberate and slow. The intimate touch made tingles go up Aiko’s spine involuntarily, and she shuddered a bit.
Utakata was still watching. So patient.
“I shouldn’t. You want more than I can give. It wouldn’t be fair. It wouldn’t be right, as your Kage-“
He cut her off with a finger to her lips.
“What do you want, Aiko?” He asked, ever so quietly. Her wrist was still mere centimeters from his mouth.
She wanted to feel like she wasn’t alone. She wanted to go home. She wanted to tell him everything, but also to run away and start another new life in a hole where she wasn’t responsible for everything.
On the other hand, it did feel nice. And Utakata knew how she felt. She suspected he knew more about some of her feelings than she did.
She broke the eye contact and looked at her hand, where his fingers were still lightly wrapped around her wrist bone. Then she looked him back in his eyes and nodded.
He blinked, slowly, in understanding. Then dipped his lips back down to her arm, which felt so exposed. He trailed kisses up from her wrist to the inside of her elbow, sometimes leaving light marks on her sensitive skin. He brought his other arm up to brush the hair off of her neck, and paused briefly to give her a moment to object.
In response, Aiko slipped her exposed arm around his waist.
“To bed, then.” His voice raised slightly at the end of the sentence, but it wasn’t really a question. Gaara or Karin or any number of underpaid Chuunin could wander in to pester her.
Aiko was a cheeky little shit, so she moved her hands up to his shoulders and jumped up, hooking her legs around his waist.
Luckily, he was feeling it. He strode off down the halls to her bedroom without complaint.
“How would you feel about some roleplay?” She asked, pushing it a bit.
“Possibly amenable.” His tone was easy, and his arms were snaked around her shoulders and waist. “What did you have in mind? Mizukage and a naughty Jounin? A scene from one of your filthy books?”
Good suggestions, actually, but no. “I was thinking…” She trailed off. How was he going to respond to that? Oh well.
“How would you feel about Senju Tobirama?”
He stopped just outside her bedroom, hand poised to slide the fusuma open.
“Having sex with him, or being him?”
“I’m up for flexibility,” Aiko suggested. “I already have the wig.”
He huffed, opened the door, and dropped her onto the tatami. He leaned in, to kiss the bridge of her nose.
“Odd. Distinctly odd. But why not.”

Damn, Tobirama role play when you finally sleep together after years of tension? That’s...bold.

Go and get her!
