We hear on a daily basis that these are "God-given rights". This does not make sense at all to me. Where and when did God state that we have the right, on His authority, to bear firearms? To speak freely at will? Any other so-called "God-given rights"? Where did this saying begin? I would like to grasp why this belief is common and see if the reason resonates with me. Thanks!
