weekly update: new characters, stages, and music!

i was FULL of motivation this week, mostly from character #8 being confirmed and a few animators freeing up their schedules to help work on characters. 7 characters now have enough animations to start balancing all stats/speeds together, with the 8th not far behind. we are inching closer to a trailer!
which reminds me, i'm conflicted on what approach to take for the initial trailer. i'm not sure if i should make a smaller reveal trailer that shows off the 4 announced, and then make a new trailer for each of the other 4 playable characters, or if i should just make 1 big epic trailer that announces everyone. i'll make a poll in the discord a few minutes after this update goes live to get your thoughts, but feel free to leave a comment as well!
most of what was worked on is heavily within spoiler territory, but i also started sketching out the RHG colosseum. i'm using a placeholder stick for all the statues, but each one will be different in the final result. (don't pay attention to color either, i'm just blocking everything out).
tacto is working on the menu music and it's coming along really nicely as well! everything is coming together at a really good pace :))
