This app is the only one of my YT apps currently still working while all others are down to the 403 issue. Cementing further my decision to support this app. Keep up the excellent work.

Got both the beta and stable. Beta went down earlier. Was watching on stable. Clicked on next video and that’s gone down. Can’t change the engine now. Stuck on cronet. Tried everything. Resorted to duckduckgo YouTube on pc. Baffled why it works then just stops.

I have also encountered the error today. "Unknown source error; Response code: 403; Don't close the player. Applying the fix..." (but it doesn't seem to ever start working and the loading icon keeps refreshing again and again).

It is happening, I found a temporary fix by updating beta but the issue has returned.

Has it been reported that every vid from my subs or recomendations is returning "Unknown source error - Response code: 403"? Just started today, was working fine before going to bed last night...

It's a temporary bug. Users reported that the bug gone after reboot. As for me, I still didn't met this bug.

I just saw an issue about "DRM" in the "issues" forum -- yesterday, the "YouTube downloader" programs I use both failed to download ANYTHING -- "This video is DRM protected." These were NOT "members only" or "age restricted" videos or anything like that -- just absolutely normal, every-day YouTube videos. For whatever that's worth, and I hope this perspective helps. Otherwise, it just feels like the "noose" is tightening on everything I do with YouTube -- every time I turn around, I'm blocked one way or another. Very frustrating.
