Interesting news from today. I was playing videos "locally" from a drive attached to my NVIDIA Shield overnight, and continued watching those after I got up. I went to YouTube in my desktop web browser, and found some videos I wanted to download. And "nothing worked" with any videos. I mostly use DVDFab's "StreamFab" to download YouTube videos these days -- I have used "4K Video Downloader" in the past, but that has been VERY unreliable. Both failed to download anything, with StreamFab giving me the error message, "Requested format is not available." 4KVD just gave a quick "download failed" message. So, it was time to launch SmartTube, and see what happens. The first video I tried indeed took a bit longer, and then I got the Error 403 message, but with the usual "Please wait, applying the fix" -- and it worked and started playing. I've been using SmartTube ever since, just fine. So, what a perfect example of what SmartTube can do, presuming that YouTube "changed something," and SmartTube was able to adjust and continue working. Thanks again for all of the work you've put into SmartTube -- again, what a perfect example of that work!
